One of my favorite custom campaigns out there. The atmosphere is very dark and suffocating. In the first chapters you will face a deep darkness on the streets of a coastal city while you are trying to find a safe room and survive. The campaign is difficult in some parts due to rugged terrains, poor visibility and blocked paths due to a cyclonic rain. Red Tide is a unique campaign with new and compelling assets and locations different from any previous official campaigns. The rescue chapter is really special and concludes the campaign with a great fight along an intense escape section.
I definitely recommend playing this custom campaign despite the great level of difficulty that this story puts upon the player. Overall, challenging chapters, cool ambience and interesting open scenarios.

The finale is quite unique, being a holdout-run-holdout-run to the helicopter, but it's not too challenging given that four medkits are provided at each holdout and weapons are in ample supply.
Pretty much my only problem was that the event at the car show made the game chug hard for some reason. No idea why.
