nope it does not, it messes with dives told it to go to perscope and it went to 100 mtr took 5 min to get up again even with 48 tc, it messes with where the quest ship to sink is, not at location, messes with hydrophone never really active no matter what way you turn boat to prevent blind spots etc, we need an update for patch 23 for this to work properly

seems it does, BUT, warehouse only have 2 torps for sale at all times, this is annoying, having to wait 16 h then buy 2 more etc untill boat is filled

Well, the darker in the name doesn't really fit.
The night sight range becomes extremely inflated.
I once had almost 90 nautical miles of vision, in all directions, at night and that was even without an officer on the bridge.
Even on a perfect day, you can hardly see smoke at 7nm away, due to Earth's curvature.
Unfortunately this makes the mod unusable for me, as it's basically a cheat.
Simply stay on the surface at night, because your sailors can see farther than the hydrophone can listen. :laughing_yeti:

I also believe this mod has broken the warehouse torpedo stocks. Initially I thought it was the Easier Resupply mod, but I disabled that, started a new game, and the problem persists, so I'm pretty sure this mod is the cause by process of elimination. Definitely needs to be fixed.

there is a bug with this mod, im afraid. It cause the warehouse to only sell one of each type torpedo while active. could you please look into it?

Since Alberich coating is still not in the base game and the old mod in the workshop has not worked for years; i'm looking for an alternative way to quiet the boat for late war period hunting and not die after the torpedo shots. Your mod is great thus far and could also be used to quiet the electric motor, de-watrering pump, the crew and even the diesel engines to mimic the coating. Could you add this to your mod? I don't think just editing the data in a .xls spread sheet works anymore, is that correct?

Added some "Cannon Mod" functionality. This is a test.
1. Deck Cannon range increased from 12km to 20km
2. Deck Cannon munitions should stack to 160
3. Deck Cannon reload time decreased from 7s to 3s

If you'd like to test it, please start a new campaign and have fun shooting the uboat cannon.

The deck cannon aspect of the mod is till a work in progress, I thought I had marked that as such, but I will have to double check now. Maybe that's what you mean?

This mod was compatible with u-boat expanded. It needs to be updated to patch 22 as its now not working.

While I can not guarantee that this mod will be compatible with UBE, the over lap seems to be minimal so there shouldn't be issues. Stack sizes are the only conflict I see.

if you want this mod to completely overwrite any UBE changes you would want this mod listed below UBE

if you only want this mod and also retain UBE's data priority place UBE in the bottom/last to load in the mod list.

I'm not entirely sure it's this mod, but it seems likely to be the only mod I have that would influence the deck gun, but I'm getting hits that aren't doing any damage at all in manual mode, only automatic mode (where they can't hit the broad side of a barn) seems to be working.

Of course, it could just be a hitbox issue... it's weird because I was definitely surface killing ships earlier in this save.

Something I just realized while playing... We can 'snipe' enemies with the 8.8 cm Deck Gun by switching to red light, even in daytime. They don't even have a fighting chance if we're out of their range. I don't know how to feel about this - on one hand it takes a lot of shells to hit probably once, on the other hand it seems kind of cheat. This probably is not for me to decide. What do you -the player - thinks about this? Let's have a public discussion.

Last mod update was Version B131 2022.0826, uploaded to Steam on Aug 26, 2022. If you tried to resume your gameplay REMEMBER, some savegames are not compatible when this game updates, and must start over a new campaign.
