Yeah, drills will damage blocks quite well. Not as well as a grinder, but pretty badly.

Wish i had idea how to do it. It would be awesome to watch this drill of yours fly off and dismantle a mountain lol Also i found out drills dismantle rover as well... Working on my drill i made mistake... found out hard way drills damage lol

Hide a beacon near enemy base... and send in this drill lol

Ah i see you have head start a a tunnel/basement boring system lol

Im planning same purpose but going to use a rover base for it.

Also for your setup im wondering.. could you use beacons broadcasting GPS signal to automate drilling. Like set it for 100 meters and when a center point on platform reaches 100 meters from both beacons it stops? And maybe set 3 beacons to help align it? Just a idea that popped into my head :-)
