My squad just hanging around near a stairs over and over again because of USELESS pathfinding SHIT
I don't feel effect.
Just 5 minutes into my session and they glide like smooth butter. No more random stopping to get killed by beaked things, I can waltz by with my scout legs are intended to do.
I want to know if you can upload a tutorial for add your mod on custom races. If you can do, I really appreciate it.
is that not a fix as part of the mod ?
mod does not turn off AI for npces
if you suffer performance problem, its usually because you click subscribe too much and have nasty modlist without right load order or even worse with slowpoke mods

The pathing for enemies is worse vice the vanilla game. I'll stand in a crowed of hungry bandits and they will ignore me. Same for slavemonger and dust bandit.
do your updates your mods in steam as well as those in Nexus?

Also, if that's the case, then nothing bad will happen only those races will use the vanilla pathfinding and not from this mod?
I saw that the autopatcher doesn't work, but couldn't we make the changes ourself? Looks like there's only two edits for the most part. Pathfinding acceleration and water avoidance, so if we add those new values for each race, wouldn't that do it?
majority of formula was adapted around player faction
You need to change only:
Size of footprint (i set it to 5 for all humanoids and smaller animals)
6 for slightly bigger animals and for anything bigger i usually adapt to double X-size
and Water Avoidance - i set it to 9 for version 1.6 as it works slightly better than 10
game accept numbers up to 10 without freaking out and hate partial numbers
Would it be too difficult to tell us what we need to change to allow for custom races to work? Maybe that way i can do it myself for my personal use instead of relying on the whim of mod creators. (Since the FCS is relatively user friendly)
mods that actively turn it into loading or crashing simulator will not cooperate with it
any performance issue can't be put on me for you loading genesis slowly, check how you load vanilla game...
I got 2 other mods that helped and i got it on SSD but it still paused all the time.
Now its sometimes loading an thats it D:

are you playing experimental branch or stable?
does issue remain when you disable the mod?
is my mod at the bottom of your load order?
is that issue happening for every race or just selected few?
This mod did not improve the AI choosing land over water, at least in Okran's Pride rivers. My base is built in that zone and the AI always prefers to walk into the river, swim parallel to land even tho rivers are very small, and then exit where they want to go, instead of using land and then swimming just to cross the water, they are using the water as their main pathing.
I imported, reset navmesh and also fixed stuff with f12 menu. I noticed the previous changes but the water issue remained exactly the same.
any zone errors are related to modpacks or badly made overhauls
feel free to disable my mod and check
