Depends on how well you know how to work with 3D and blender.
If you have at least basic knowledge, then ‘transplanting’ the already edited head from this mod to the body of a regular Hive Prince will not be so difficult. Then it will remain only to edit the .xml file with the list of sliders (for character creation), so that they appear and work in the game.
The community has some basic guides on how to work with the game file format.
Could a buffoon like me do it, or am I gonna has to seek help from le community pages?
Possible.
But since I don't make mods for Kenshi anymore, it can only be done by someone else.
I really like the head crest, but I prefer my buggo’s genderless.
It won't help.
Since this is an addon for the Hive Prince race, and it adds a female gender to that race.
As a result, if you replace the female mesh with a male one, all other armor (not exclusively designed for hivers) will have clipping.
The only correct solution here is to create separate female models for the hiver armors.
I might do this but I dont know if I will
You'll need to redo the male model in the 3d editor, adding the crown, plus the data for morphs/key shapes.
And then linking it with an xml file for the character editor so the changes can be displayed in game as sliders.
Not too difficult if you know how to work with Blender and know some basics.
Oh, you mean this.
Well, you'll need knowledge of how to work with 3d models, and knowledge of a 3d editor like Blender.
As I understand it, the armour from that mod simply doesn't have a female model, so you'll need to make one.
This will require you to adapt the geometry (appearance) of the armour first. This is not that difficult.
And you'll also need to rig those meshes to the female ‘skeleton’ so that the armour moves and deforms properly, as well as working with the character editor. That's the harder part.
I think when I started modding Kenshi myself, there was something on this topic in the community tutorials section.
You can also find something useful on official and community Discord servers.
Considering I've never played with this mod, have no idea what it does, and haven't played Kenshi in years... Yes =)
Sliders have two parts - a morph part with the 3d object in a separate file, and a text part that adds that to the game.
While you can simply copy the text part from one file to another, for the morphs themselves you'll need to combine all the shape-keys (which define exactly how the faces should morph) in a software like Blender.
If you do not do this, whichever set of sliders (for a particular race) is lower on your mod list will apply. The game cannot merge this automatically as it works with most other mods.
Any NPC who is assigned a Hive-Prince race (even from random list), and who is not assigned a forced male gender (most squads not), could turn out to be a Princess.
But I don't know what the chances of that are in a vanilla game. Princes are pretty rare there.
Never used this mod, so I have no idea.
Most likely all armour made exclusively for hivers will not work (unless it has a version for normal human races)
There can be problems with character creation, too.
Skinning problem, I suppose. Bones, weights, that sort of thing. Perhaps this particular vertex didn't get the weights for the `neck` bone, and that's why it doesn't work properly.
I'm unlikely to be able to fix that, as it would require editing the model.
Not sure what might be causing this, but it's exclusive to the Princess subrace/gender so reporting in case this sounds applicable here
Many thanks for making & sharing this one, keep up the nice work!
This.
In fact, I even messed up a bit with compatibility, so this mod will break CuteHive's functionality for the Prince race a bit.
It would take some minor edits to the xml file to make them work together.
It is also configurable to work seamlessly with Princess of Cute Hive and Princess of Cute Hive EXPAND.

Load this mod after Cute Hive mod. But in this case, the regular princes will lose their "Cute" slider.
I forgot to make compatibility here.
You can do it yourself, just add the missing line to the "male" section in the `editor_data_stick_prince.xml` file from the `editor` folder (compare their contents, it's pretty simple there).
Nope.
Boobs are mandatory =)
No joke, the race is made that way specifically so that it can wear female clothing for humanoid characters, the body of this race mimics the standard female model as much as possible.
All the body sliders from the character creation screen work too, so you can try to remove your character's breasts with them.
However, this will have no effect on the other characters.
I have a question though: Is there a way that I can change the mod so that they don't have boobs. I appreciate your dedication, but I just don't care for it personally.
I'm guessing it would either be something like swapping the body to a hive prince's, or making it so that the sliders always at 0, or removed? I don't really know if that's possible as I've only messed with the FCS a very little bit. I would appreciate some guidance :]
Wherever hive princes are found.
It's literally the female half for the prince race, not a separate race.
Unfortunately, I don't make mods for Kenshi anymore either, so I can't help here.

Princess Of Cute Hive - EXPAND Mod adds your model to all Hivers
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2451854461 - PoCH - EXP
I am not capable of doing the modeling or modding for it due to my Autism, and Sequoia the maker of the PoCH - EXP mod is no longer modding for Kenshi and other areas i have looked no one will help with this. So what I am asking is could you help me make a Praetorian version for the mod?
I don't think that's possible. At least not without a noticeable impact on the game.
Princesses are the other half of the Prince race, so any squad that has a chance of having both Princes and female NPCs can have Princesses.
You will have to manually change all such squads (with Princes) by setting the chance of female NPCs to zero.
I don't know how many such squads there are in the game. Such fix could significantly reduce the number of female characters in the game.
The second option is to make a separate race using assets from my mod.
But then you also should make compatibility patches for all animation-related mods.
Nope.
YES.
Feel free to do whatever you want.
I did ask there first, but the author doesn't seem to be active in the mod chat anymore.
And since the author gives full credits to you I probably should ask it here anyway.
My question is then to get permission to put it up on the workshop in some way or form.
