Makes the collar's gem fullbright as well. Thanks moomal! :D

That's smart and I didn't think of it lol.

That's what I should do.

if you wanted, couldnt you add an extra parameter to the color replacements so 0084FF (the color of the collar lights) is replaced with 0084FFFE ? That way it would work with the original body and any reskins automatically.

Humanoid patch collar updated with fullbright.

Hmmm well that would require a change to the sprite itself. I can do that on my humanoid familiars patch.

Can confirm: the collar is intended to have a little light on it. It's a small detail, but one I would have made fullbright if I could do it without additional mod dependencies/install/config fun.

Unsubbing and resubbing to the Familiars mod fixed the issue. Thanks!

@Malachite

The pixel shader need to be downloded from a link on its page description and extracted to the mod folder in the game files. It took me way to long to figure that out. OTL

@Malachite

Funnily enough I didn't test this on steam, and had the same problem when I tried it just now. I unsubbed then resubbed to the familiars race mod and that fixed it!

When in doubt, unsub and resub, lol

I can't get this mod and Familiars with No Glow/Fullbright to work at the same time, despite having FutaraDragon's Pixel Fullbright Shader installed. Either my test character has no fullbright or they're all fullbright. I can't figure out how to make it work so that only the glow markings are fullbright. (And yes, I'm remaking the test character each time.)
DrPvtSkittles  [author] 18 Mar, 2021 @ 6:24am
Ummmm I have no idea lol

Oh I just noticed, shouldn't the light on the collar be fullbright as well? The 1 blue pixel.
DrPvtSkittles  [author] 18 Mar, 2021 @ 12:34am
A whole new world has been opened. lol
Devccoon 17 Mar, 2021 @ 12:44pm
What is this dark magic??

This is legit exactly what I wanted to do with the glowy colors~

@AetherMirage
I know its hard to tell, but all of the images for this mod uses that one. lol

@Auntie Boogie
Yeah this mod just replaces the marking colours with new ones that are very VERY slightly transparent. Basically 255 alpha value is fully opaque and the colours used to make things fullbright are 254.

@AetherMirage
Yes it does, since it only affect the color and not the sprite itself. Im not sure how it will handle mods that changes or adds custom colors tough,,,
Dust 16 Mar, 2021 @ 9:51am
Oooh, neat. So far I've been doing this effect simply by wearing a custom drawables outfit of my familiar character sprite with the markings cut out (so that those parts of the fullbright sprite underneath showed), but this is a much cleaner solution.
DrPvtSkittles  [author] 16 Mar, 2021 @ 7:50am
I always felt that was the intent. When I saw the means to finally make it happen, I just had to!
Cessa Glum 16 Mar, 2021 @ 7:47am
Finaly familiars look the way the creator intended! (,,,, as far as I can rember,,,,)
