Would be cool if there was an option to make the Shieldmaiden trait make that character eligible to be a knight in any culture, not just those that accept shieldmaidens.

CK3 is now on version 1.13.0.3 and since I only hit the update button while 1.13.0.1 was live and havent pressed it since then (because nothing changed that would influence this mod), the launcher tells you that the mod wasnt updated for the current version. But yeah, you good to go. Usually I mention in the first sentence of the mod description, if the mod is compatbile with the current version, but I forgot to do so for 1.13.0.3

@AdorableAurora This mod doesnt influence that, it only influences who can become a shieldmaid. But usually they do so, if they're one of your champions/knights.

OK, I made a mod to fix these cultures

this way your mod will work with Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Irish, and Gaelic cultures.

Unfortunately, only Norse (not Swedish, Not Danish, Not Norwegian) have:

trait = tradition_fp1_performative_honour

and it is the performative honour trait that has

has_access_to_shieldmaidens = yes

There is also:

tradition_fp1_the_right_to_prove

that has

has_access_to_shieldmaidens = yes

but none of the Norse cultures have that trait.

So this explains why my 867 Norwegian ruler doesn't have the option to make shieldmaidens.

I'm torn between making a mod to add performative honor to these three Norse subcultures, or to just delete the line of code with:

culture = { has_cultural_parameter = has_access_to_shieldmaidens }

Would it be possible to remove the stress gain of a Shield-maiden liege creating more shield-maidens? Feels a little odd when my current character gets stressed from swearing her knights to the same oath she took under the previous ruler.

cool.

for compatibility, you should only include the shieldmaiden interaction. having the interactions for chief sacrifice at a blot, and the other non-shieldmaiden interactions, opens this up to becoming obsolete if paradox changes those interactions, or for compatibility with another mod that changes those. when i deleted the other interactions, the mod still worked fine. you only need to include what is changed by a mod.

i like how this adds the shieldmaiden feature to the whole North Germanic culture group, instead of just "Norse".

Having a husband that is a knight isn't much of a requirement, as you can temporarily forbid your best knights, so even a prowess 1 person can be a knight. Maybe remove this option (what I did), or instead require the husband to have prowess above 15 or some other number.

Been playing since CK 1, I'm having the best game ever right now (a few mods twisted, more or less intentionally the game just the right way), and your mod just saved my reformed Asatru by enabling Shieldmaidens without equality. Anyway, perfect icing on the cake, thx a lot.

The problem has been resolved because of a conflict with《No More Interactions (final)》, Just stop running 《No More Interactions (final)》。

@小怪兽(=_=) thats odd, it works totally fine for me. Do you have any mod that uses the "01_fp1_interactions" file? If yes, then my mod will not work with the other mod. Maybe your mod version is not up to date, unsubscribe this mod and resubscribe and see if that fixed your problem. Else I need to know if the option is not appearing at all.

@Kamakaziwarlord for Shieldmaidens you should only have to delete the culture and religion requirements at "designate_shieldmaiden_interaction" in the 01_fp1_interactions file. I recommend doing this in my modification, otherwise your modification or my modifaction of the file will not work, since one of them will be overwritten by the other one. For the other DLC related stuff I can't help you very much, all I can say is that you have to look for other 01_fp1 files and look for the requirements culture and/or religion inside the files and change/delete those two requirements.
