absolutely great idea for a mod. I love it. Ive spent so many hours in game, I have everything mezmerized, but for new players or someone who wants to play from a different angle, this mod is the way to go. Nice work, tyvm

I love it, people stopping by stream are loving it, giving you the shout out

Awesome mod!
Thank you for your time and passion!

Would be even better if there was an option to increase the radius or even better... to reveal the "square" of the map when the player enters it (for example A1, J5, R9... you know... those squares)

Just saying because right now we have to do a literal "sweeping" of the map as we play xD
Thank you in any case!!! <3
ku_rekt 14 Jul, 2023 @ 9:00pm
I do agree with that a slight increase in radius would be nice, my mini map shows way more than is revealed on the map.
ku_rekt 9 Jun, 2023 @ 5:43pm
I love this mod, makes exploring so much more fun! For all the people that need coordinates, I've been using it with MapWithCoordinates mod and it works great. (with this mod below)

Thanks for this, I'm glad others out there like the "fog of war" revealing thing that other open world games have.

Is there a way to increase the radius that's revealed around the player? A command or something?

Also, assuming it's even possible with this game's mod tools, it might look nicer if there was some fading around the edges of the reveal circle, kinda like this: https://i.imgur.com/lze98GF.png
Vattende 27 Aug, 2022 @ 5:41pm
Very nice ! Installed it for the Isle of Tir-Na-nOg map, for bit more immersion during the exploration. Working great, and add some spice to the game. Thankies ! :DerketoMask:
Verayth 24 Jul, 2022 @ 6:43pm
Playing on the Isle of Siptah map, and the entire fog of war area has slid south a bit. It's most obvious along the coastlines where it no longer matches my exploration route.
mrgig00 29 Jun, 2022 @ 8:14am
This mod really adds so much to the game while being so simple. Thank you so much!
DreamyDae 14 May, 2022 @ 1:23pm
I second that the grid still being visible would be helpful in a huge way.
Any chance that that is coming soon?
VietCongNoScope 15 Mar, 2022 @ 11:41am
yess ! I love this !
Roalith 18 Jan, 2022 @ 3:08pm
That makes sense. Could it be an option that can be enabled in-game to turn on or off at least for the vanilla map(s)? It just makes it difficult to give instructions to someone else. "Yeah, there are some horses uh very far north and a little west of you". I love the mod by the way, and will continue to use even if not possible!
LilMissHentai  [author] 18 Jan, 2022 @ 11:22am
Hm... the biggest issue on a grid is basically that each map has a different grid (at least the custom maps do) - I'll figure out something eventually.
Roalith 18 Jan, 2022 @ 11:18am
Grid view with either the vanilla letter + number or letter + number + coordinate would be welcomed, it still doesn't harm exploration (my opinion) but helps with navigation and playing with others.
Raven 19 Jun, 2021 @ 12:51pm
Update on my last comment: I'm saorry it looks like it was my save that somehow broke it when I added your mod, it works like a charm on a new game. Cheers!
Raven 19 Jun, 2021 @ 12:15pm
I did try on an existing save, I'll do more testing later on a new game with only unlock+ and this one and see if that's still happening.
LilMissHentai  [author] 19 Jun, 2021 @ 11:53am
What? Impossible.
Raven 19 Jun, 2021 @ 11:28am
I liked the idea, but it seems to break a couple features from unlock+ with pickup. As in, the fetching materials from nearby containers. Other than that, I'll keep an eye on it, definitely.
The Dolmen Duke 18 Jun, 2021 @ 8:20pm
Would love to see an option to display the grid! Perhaps an option for EL/Siptah grid coordinates or "no grid" so it could be used either way for people using a map with different grid settings? Regardless, thanks for the great mod <3
Nicragomi TTV 4 Jun, 2021 @ 3:56pm
@LilMissHentai Thank You! Worked like a charm!

@Nicragomi: Admin -> DataCmd IseeDeadPeople
Nicragomi TTV 1 Jun, 2021 @ 3:37pm
is there a way I can turn this off without having to disable it for the entire server? I got it for my players that enjoy exploration, but I am building little gathering areas in Admin mode and would like to know if that's possible... otherwise, awesome mod!
LilMissHentai  [author] 12 May, 2021 @ 3:29pm
@dapperDad: in theorie it is possible, however, each map may have different areas for their coordinate-legend on screen. exiled lands and siptah share an area - while savage wilds is somewhere else.
cjs 12 May, 2021 @ 11:40am
This mod is awesome. Hands down one of my favorites. Is it possible to start with the grid portion of the map uncovered though? The portion with the numbers and letters?
Evolvei 29 Apr, 2021 @ 6:55am
Personally I think an opacity option slider or optional % would make this mod even better.
That way players that want it could still see the map and still know where they have not been yet.
Evolvei 24 Apr, 2021 @ 5:11am
Have this and a minimap now. Works great together.

Now all my character needs is a cell phone with a map app to say which way to turn and tells my character what ingredients I need to make something and where to make it.
Batilda_Rabbitt 23 Apr, 2021 @ 10:18pm
I didn't realize that iqol had a minimap too, thats perfect, thanks so much!
LilMissHentai  [author] 23 Apr, 2021 @ 9:46pm
I can tell you that Hosavs UI and iQoL Minimaps don't have issues.
Batilda_Rabbitt 23 Apr, 2021 @ 9:33pm
Hi! I'm new to mods and trying not to get in over my head with compatability and troubleshooting etc, and I need a minimap mod too..

'LTs Compass (Minimap)' or 'Niflheimr - MiniMap' were the ones I am looking at, can anybody tell me if this would have a compatability issue with either?

I don't mind if the map fog doesnt work on the minimap either, as long as it works on the main map!
LilMissHentai  [author] 23 Apr, 2021 @ 11:53am
You'll have to relog to get it back :)
Evolvei 23 Apr, 2021 @ 11:04am
Thank You Very Much for making this mod.
DataCmd IseeDeadPeople works for removing Fog of War.
What command puts it back?
Attila[DK] 14 Apr, 2021 @ 7:43am
AWESOME mod
Adon1s 31 Mar, 2021 @ 6:47am
i cant stop to wonder , seeing as climbing is a thing in CE , would be possible to reveal a portion of said map if we reach a certain point on map/ or activate some kind of item , like at the top of a mountain? would be possible/doable?
VOID 28 Mar, 2021 @ 4:44pm
I love this. I'd love to have the aforementioned ability for admins to uncover all the map, and maybe the ability to manually edit the visibility mask, so I can uncover areas already explored by the character before enabling the mod.
Hammer Goblin 26 Mar, 2021 @ 4:00am
If my server had issues looking for things, this will add to it. Which makes it a good mod.

The suffering of my lovely friends is something I feed off of. Lol. Yay humor. Good mod though.
Codex31 21 Mar, 2021 @ 7:30am
This is great! I once tried to complete the journey in it's entirety one set was discorver ALL the points on the map...Now I'd argued that I did but I guess the check mark didn't flag properly or maybe just maybe I miss one little corner of the world among everything else. I'd say this would help keep track of it all better.
LilMissHentai  [author] 21 Mar, 2021 @ 6:37am
@PinkShot: I'll consider it :)
PinkShot 21 Mar, 2021 @ 6:35am
Awesome mod :) You are just a genius modder
A console command for admins to see entire map clear would be nice ;)
LilMissHentai  [author] 20 Mar, 2021 @ 7:19pm
Hm... It might be possible - but the number of markers a player can place is pretty limited. I'll take a look though.
opsedar 20 Mar, 2021 @ 4:47pm
Awesome addition to the exploration elements! Kudos, quick question, is it possible to entirely remove all map markers? I wanted a bit of Breath Of The Wild style where the player themselves marks it on their map manually instead of the game persistently add markers themselves. Thanks!
Zaphod4th 20 Mar, 2021 @ 8:25am
Very nice mod ! Upvoted !
Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer 19 Mar, 2021 @ 12:56am
I've thought something like this would make exploring the map more interesting for new players for a while now.
pgames-food 17 Mar, 2021 @ 9:23pm
hi i think this will actually be especially useful for new games where you area searching for lost items and recipe books, to know exactly where you have been before :)

in my game im still searching for more recipes for the stove :)
norril3 17 Mar, 2021 @ 8:32pm
If I have already explored a portion of the map, then add this mod, will it know/show where I have already been? I highly doubt it, but am unsure of how the game code keeps track of us and what the mod is working off of. This looks really neat and I am going to give it a run when the Siptah map expands.
