The mismatch just means the client and server don't both have the same version of the mod, but steam pushes the update out at different times to people, so sometime that ends up being the issue.
If you're still having the issue after this long let me know and I can look in to it more.
Have this mod on Valguero and we were getting mismatch mod messages when we tried to load into game. So went to do the required mod update and the mod won't update and shows error message
On a side note, I started up a Discord server to have a more direct line for reporting issues or suggestions: https://discord.gg/KRaGCKxWhu
"ɳαɳҽყα" has a mod called RR-MedievalRoleplayDeco! that's very cool. The sinks in that mod will snap to S+ floors (ceilings) that have internal pipes without a pipe or anything else having to be physically run. This makes it a lot easier to have a functional sink and while that's awesome, I like your sinks better... : )
For the next update I'll work on a way to allow the sinks to be placed without needing pipes to snap them to/from. ARK's tap wasn't designed with this sort of placement in mind, so they've always been tricky to work with.
Some of the changes in the next update have taken longer than expected, so I don't really have an ETA, but I'll end up publishing it in a few days even if I don't get the other stuff finished completely.
Thanks again!
Either way, appreciate your work.
You could try unsubscribing and then deleting the entire mod install folder (..\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods\2428761590) and maybe the 2428761590.mod file inside the Mods folder.
If you don't manually back up your save folder, check in \Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArksLocal and you'll see a bunch of files name like TheIsland_16.03.2023_15.58.55.ark (or whatever map you play on). You'll need to rename the most recent one of those that was saved when the mod was still active to TheIsland.ark (again, whatever map you're on). Of course it's a good idea to back up the entire "Saved" folder regardless.
I know this doesn't solve the problem of not having the mod show up in your list, but it will restore your map since if you log in to a map without a mod running, ARK will delete all the mod structures that didn't load from your map save file.
i just launched my own private single player game, and my base, my house, my dino barn, is all completely naked and bare, cause this mod was ALL i used :'(. when i launched the game, i didnt see it in my mod add ons...... so exited and seen if it was still in steam workshop for ark.... and it is, and im still subscribed to this...... PLEASE HELP!!! i dont want to delete the game, but this may cause me to :'( :'( :'(..... ive got every single resource ligit without admin cheating, ive tamed every dino without forcetame.
Removing the mod folders won't affect that UNLESS you actually launch the server, then it won't be able to load the structures since they don't exist, and you'll end up with a new map save file with all those structures missing.
It's a good idea to back up the save folder regardless (I periodically back up the entire "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\" folder so it backs up the config and everything). If you do lose everything for any reason, you can copy the files from the backup in to your ARK directory.
That said, I delete all mod folders on my server every time a mod gets updated, just make sure you don't actually launch the server with the mods missing.
Sometimes unsubscribing and making sure all the mod files are deleted from where they install, then resubscribing works (this includes the files on the server, if you're running a dedicated server).
