Or check out Skeletor's mappack submod, which is based on this map and fixes the steam workshop issue, so it should auto-update.
I'm only second to the Empire proper but that's so spread out, and I've been hitting them hard with raids stealing ships and overall causing so much chaos behind the lines. Hopefully I can get the chiss or Pentastar alignment to be a bit more aggressive alongside factions like Crimson Command, and Eradu Authority.
I might have to take the southern part of the galaxy if the Eradu decide to fight me instead of the Empire. Expanding fleets and keeping them modern is a must with the limit to mines. Would love a version without the limit to mining buildings considering the size of the campaign.
Oke, thanks :D
I forget to tell you that by doing that fix you won't be able to do MP skirmish. So you'll want to have a backup of the base TR 3.1 folders that I mentioned previously so you can swap them out with the modded ones in order to play MP. Just so you know.
Really thanks for your help, now i can run the mod, im really happy. <3<3<3<3
Here's what I did to get it to work.
1) Go to Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/32470/data.
2) Once there you should see 3 folders called "Scripts", "Text" and "XML".
3) Select all 3 and copy them.
4) Then go to Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/32470/1125571106/Data and paste them there. It will ask you to override files, say yes.
5) Now to go to your steam page and put STEAMMOD=1125571106 in the launch options.
It worked for me so hopefully it will help you.

Fixed CSA being unplayable. Updated campaign text description accordingly.
Added several more industrial part factories to fix IR and NR E1/E2 starts having insufficient industrial part production. Unfortunately I don't have time to test out every single start combination for this, if there are others, feel free to report them
Fixed Farrfin being unoccupied at start
Transferred several minor planets near Coruscant from IR to NR at E2 start, to prevent Coruscant being immediately threatened and give the NR enclave in the core a bit more power
Removed one more bad overlapping trade route
other than that, it's smoother than expected, i had considered making this myself but never found the time, thank you :)
Updated to 3.1's 7-era setup, eras are directly duplicated from E1->E2, E4->E6, so there may be a few awkward-looking borders at era changes.
Fixed a few incorrect trade routes.
As for installing through steammod subscription, I have no clue. I'm pretty sure it's some issue with steam not liking Linux, the steamcmd workshop upload is a really minimal tool with poor documentation and about 4 pages on the entire internet explaining how to use it, with conflicting information. I've more or less given up on trying to get that fixed. If anybody else is more familiar with the workshop and wants to take a crack at it, knock yourself out.
It depends...
How much are you SM-oriented?
It's actually vastly smoother from my initial experience.
As a side note, if comparing this planet list to the nearest in size (a 197 planet “Mega Campaign” - also on the workshop) there are some planets in that one that are absent. Was that a conscious choice or would you be open to adding them in?
yep... thou i can understand the modders for what they said : trying to make this behemoth work with a mod that is already taking a toll on your PC and Hardware would require something along SMG at least. Their still the best and even they stay away from such huge maps for a reason. If ya cant run a 800 system Stellaris map, then DONT TRY THIS HERE!
PS. Foldermerging works perfectly fine. You just need to put in some effort yourselfe for once. Its also more stable that way than to have 2 mods that need to combine themselfe through steam first.
As for performance a solid 30fps any resolution up to 8k with a 3090 and a 5600X, good thing the fps isn't required on the overview.
I know you said it won't be supported in any capacity so i assume then this will be a limited window to play?, As in if TR gets updated you wont provide a version to play on that? if so understandable but please consider it.
