It's compatible it just overwrites a single line in the defines, it will just say it's incompatible

So ive tried this mod a few times andim confused, is it supposed to also affect the de jure drift that starts almost immediately when you start the game (its parts of aquitaine and burgundy that start drifting to france and italy) and it feels like other games it doesn't change the drift like it should. maybe im doing something wrong any help would be appreciated.

File 'common/defines/zz_defines_stop_drifting.txt' should be in utf8-bom encoding (will try to use it anyways)
you are my hero thank you

Ya this is savegame compatible. You can add it and remove it with no issues
FrostShadow_007 27 Oct, 2022 @ 4:01pm
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is this savegame compatible?

This is still up to date by the way I'm just too lazy to add a line of text in the mod files that says compatible with 1.7.* or whatever

Thank you for making this, as I have been wanting to play with you in your games. Haha, friend. A good mod, by a good man.

I haven't changed any AI behavior because I want this to be as compatible with other mods as possible. Since it changes just a single line just put this last in load order and it will work with anything.

Nice, I hope we can change the rule like it was in ck2 later
kgptzac 23 Mar, 2021 @ 5:06pm
This sounds like exactly what I wanted. Hopefully the AI won't waste time integrating titles and do domestic relations now.

on behalf of myself and MANY ppl, thank you.

Hi, sorry, but I hope you can help... I dont like de jure drift, but i like de jure kingdoms and empires borders in 1066. Any way to have 1066 de jure borders in 867, except save editing? thanks and nice mod, stay safe.
Jordy_McCroquette 20 Mar, 2021 @ 7:46pm
Damn, I was looking for one of those. Nice work dude!
Logros 20 Mar, 2021 @ 1:22pm
very nice! I'll give it a test and come back with karma :)

noticed drift happened in a game recently and was pissed off - no rule to disable it!

Took effect immediately when enabled. Very nice!

"The de facto borders will still be hideous but rest easy in the knowledge that according to the highest laws of the land, the borders still actually make sense" lol
