@Vrooktar Thanks for the heads up m8! Was hoping that by now it be somehow be ported to WH3 but its seams its more complicated. Think ill play,or should say ill revisit WH2 cose i love this MOD. Thank you for your work maintaining it, its not an easy task i think! Wish i was a programmer or had a shit ton of free time to learn how to MOD...!

Personally I don't know well enough how the mod works to port it. I was only capable of maintaining it, which is something the original author stopped doing.
It was also a headache that the requirement for this mod, the UI Modding Framework, wasn't available for Warhammer 3. Some people say thas the UI Modding Framework has been ported to Warhammer 3 though. So maybe its now possible to do it. I am too busy to do so myself and the original mod author made no move to do it either, so it should be fair game for anyone who wants to try.

Do we know by any chance why this mod isent in WH3? Is it tech related or the original author dose not permit the recreation of his MOD into WH3?

Hey all, I like so many of you have loved this mod to death and back, to such a point that I almost exclusively play WH2 because it does not exist in WH3. I wish I was joking. This mod made the game so much more fun, even if it was able to be abused, and I genuinely wish that it had been incorporated by CA (even if in a more limited fashion) into the core design. However, that pipe dream is well beyond realistic, as that would be expecting CA or GW to listen to literally anybody that enjoys their content.

I have some experience writing mods for other games, primarily in the 4x field, and if there is a will there is a way. Does anybody know of a resource list I could access to learn how to write mods for the CA Total War coding base? An instruction manual, a youtube video, anything? Because, if I can get access to the coding language and a guide on how to dig into how this one operates in conjunction with the UI framework mod, this is a mod I could translate over.

ahh ok cause i'm having that problem and i can't pin point what mod is causing it. figured out of all the mods i use this would be the most likley one since it messes with skills and stuff..humm the hunt continues

Could the mod cause lords in bretonnia to start with the mount allready unlocked but unabled to equip mounts?

It is great mod and great adaptation of original mod. Thank you very much. But I want to ask one important thing for me - is there any way to turn off that butoon/function of customizible amount of starting traits? I think it is very cheating thing and I want to restrict myself from cheating (and it is hard to do when I see it on the screen)).

@Fodux @Natsume When I wrote the original creator of this mod about the same issue, Vanishoxycat wrote back that he had disabled it for High Elf martial lords because he thought the trait would make them too strong (never mind that you could give it to a Vampire Lord, along with a bunch of other traits, if you so choose).

@Fodux I have/had the same problem. I can only give it to handmaidens and archmages/mages. But I did find a workaround. Add the trait on the character type that can get it, then switch to another type.

Hello there! If i may, can you disable the loyalty mechanic when you make a custom lord? Returning after a few years to the game and thinks have change a bit.... Also a big THANK YOU! for updating this wonderfool MOD!!!

Its just an educated guess, but to me it sounds as if a mod conflict might be the issue.
It doesn't seem to affect everyone and its only this one trait.
I would suspect that some other mod changed the same trait which then resulted in this mod being unable to find it where it expects it to be.
But thats really just an educated guess, since I am not actively modding WH2 anymore.

@Vrooktar Btw, great mod. Forgot to tell you that. I just finished the campaign and it really made my experience much better. The way this game implements RNG is really annoying for some reason. Without this mod I think my "OCD" might have gotten out of hand, so thank you.

@Vrooktar You can't push the plus sign to add it and it gets pushed to the bottom once you have enough points to add it. I tried getting to 4 points both by adding the negative traits and through the settings and neither worked. I even tried changing it to even more points in the setting but it didn't make a difference.

For some reason I can't add the Incendiary trait. I tried prince, princes, melee, ranged, magic. I even tried editing it to start with 4 points, even more, but I can't get it to work. Does anyone have an idea what I might be doing wrong?

@Vrroktar Yeah I made the mistake on my end, I always have a og file backed up. I might try it again later. I thought it was the mod at first.
I am having a hard time figuring out the name paths to use for the tables. Love the mod so far tho it been working great.

It was my favorite mod for wh2!
Everyone has to accept that, unfortunately there will be no sequel. There is a similar mod for wh3: Cpecific's Traits Manager. Of course it's not as good as this was.

Hello, author. Thank you very much for your efforts in maintaining mod. I also very much hope to continue to use this mod in Warhammer 3. The following is my preliminary understanding of the method of porting this mod to Warhammer 3. When querying the game data form, it was found that the initial traits such as fire and thunder in the high elves were filled in as background skills in the form, not the traits form.Therefore, can we copy the data of these initial traits into the traits form and make it a traits? In this way, we can add or delete these initial traits with the traits manager mod. I am currently doing this work, but due to the form update and my inexperience in mod production, the progress is slow.I hope this is a feasible idea!

I am simply not able to do it.
This mod relies on the UI Modding Framework and its unclear weither that one will get a port or weither thats even possible without running into serious problems.
This mod also is the result of Vanishoxyact's work.
Unless porting it is really very straight forward I have my doubts weither I even understand its foundation well enough to do it.
I am good enough to keep such a mod afloat by updating it, but everything else is a gamble.
