Xindet 6 May, 2021 @ 1:09am
Fulda is one hour away from my hometown. Very happy to see something like that in arma.

piranlittle 20 Apr, 2021 @ 2:38pm
Man, finally a map where helicopters become properly important, whilst also having that sick forest aesthetic, love it.
LuizBarros99 15 Apr, 2021 @ 3:57am
Dang, that is pretty big
Jakerod  [author] 14 Apr, 2021 @ 7:43pm
15.3 x 15.3km (234sqkm)
LuizBarros99 14 Apr, 2021 @ 5:14pm
The map is 15.3km by 15.3km, or "15.3km square"(3.9km by 3.9km)?
Reaperactual42 8 Apr, 2021 @ 10:23pm
It looks good so far, I cant wait to see the end product
Phoenix 28 Mar, 2021 @ 5:05am
Pretty, but infantry combat is tough. I LOVE IT!
Spinoza 27 Mar, 2021 @ 6:34pm
Use gm objects to recreate some vilalges or towns, it looks good. I like the idea, good work
Combat 27 Mar, 2021 @ 4:40pm
I love the terrain layout, looooong FOV yet instead of flat ground it's riddled with defilades. I fucking cant wait till I'll roll down one of those valleys with a herd of leopards and marders <3
Spartains 26 Mar, 2021 @ 5:21pm
Looks awesome, I hope it stays in development. Still disappointed after Alaska 2035.
G.I. Joe 26 Mar, 2021 @ 3:03pm
Looks absolutely amazing!
Keep up the great work.
Hinde 26 Mar, 2021 @ 7:00am
Looking forward to see how this develops.
Krawdad 25 Mar, 2021 @ 10:25pm
Id love to help with asset placement for the urban layouts and such. I've been wanting to make terrains but the tutorials are never detailed enough to get me started. Hit me up if you wouldn't mind some help!
Cameron McDonald 25 Mar, 2021 @ 6:03pm
Definitely keeping an eye on this - good luck with the project!
MikuTovarish 25 Mar, 2021 @ 5:22pm
finally a map in a part of germany that isn't just flat been getting well sick of those
Jakerod  [author] 25 Mar, 2021 @ 3:40pm
I don't have a discord.... now I do: https://discord.gg/banchRSD

There's a decent chance I know about the problems but wouldn't mind you adding them in the feedback channel there if you want.
Per_von_Harke 25 Mar, 2021 @ 2:56pm
Any way of pointing out terrain errors without spamming this comment section. A Discord would be good imo. :cozybethesda:

Keep it free, no cup no rhs. Tired of having big sized mods to run a little map.
Jakerod  [author] 25 Mar, 2021 @ 6:04am
I probably won't use RHSTERRACORE. The Livonia buildings fit the town sizes better than the RHS buildings do. Most the towns are farming communities. I will keep it in mind if I decide I need bigger buildings though.
Adamos12303 25 Mar, 2021 @ 5:27am
Yea don't use GM stuff as it will be for DLC only as there's no "free" assets to vanilla. Contact on the other hand does have free assets (buildings, trees, rocks...). But yet again it's your mod and your rules
honger 24 Mar, 2021 @ 10:44pm
Keep up the good work, man. Are you planning to use RHSTERRACORE assets? It would be awesome too see some proper European tightly built cities instead of random wooden pre-war huts in the middle of nowhere.
Per_von_Harke 24 Mar, 2021 @ 6:34pm
nice
Jakerod  [author] 24 Mar, 2021 @ 5:57pm
The plan is to use Livonia buildings. Whereas the terrain is inspired by the terrain of Germany it is not meant to be Germany. That's why there's a sea/lake in the upper left hand corner.

Despite the fact that I think GM is absolutely amazing there are two factors in why I probably won't use it for this:

#1 is I think that it adds a dependency on the CDLC which will limit who can use this terrain.

#2 is I don't know what plans GM has in the future. BI has been releasing puzzle pieces showing something new and if it ends up being a new game I can't guarantee that GM objects will make it to that game (though I'm 99% sure Mond and GalCom would want to port it) whereas I will most likely be able to port Livonia objects.

And to answer Rovka's question about the Iron Curtain, I'm not planning on putting the inner-German border in.
Per_von_Harke 24 Mar, 2021 @ 5:35pm
Please don't. Maps like Rosche can look just as good without GM. And we really don't have any good and modern German maps. But since its Fulda its prob gonna become GM focused.
Prætor 24 Mar, 2021 @ 11:10am
If you add GM as a dependency, you could do it better. Tons of people like myself are looking for GM maps!
Yeard_NL 24 Mar, 2021 @ 9:31am
For one, I'm happy to see this appear, even on the current state on how it is for now.
Thanks for the upload.

However, it begs the question: How will it become on the matter of future dependencies?
Will Global Mobilization end up being mandatory, or perhaps CUP-assets only? Or will it be standalone? Thanks for answer if given if you will.

Reason why I ask, is because I was wondering wether this would become a Cold War era (with Iron Curtain in place perhaps), or alternatively a modern day timeline variant of map (without Iron Curtain.) But thanks for this nice work in progress being released already.

Looking good! Follow your work now.
