Just to be sure: I need the downloaded file to be in data folder AND subscribe to the mod here in Steam Workshop? Or am I good with just the downloaded file in data folder (no need to subscribe)?

Hmm can't get this to work. I followed the instructions, moved the file to data and turned particles to max and nothing.

@TheLEDkiller the only way to use reshade mod and activate sharpening effects with some other effects like SMAA and TLAA and it will be enhanced only this way due to my exp.

@The Dee it works for 1212 but do not activate in mod manager and it will appear in battles in 1212 as with me

This graphics mod is very good.
It adds immersion to the battles and works fine for Ancient Empires.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to appear in the battles for the 1212AD mod.
Is there something I have to do to make it work?

Works great in vanilla and other mods, but in AE the color palette is muted af and the dust cant be seen unless you squint, also dust is almost nonexistent with infantry, cavalry however, has amazing dust.
