I want to know how to arrange the schedule-type in two rows like the demonstration picture,I have too many schedule-type,some df the schedule-type are overlapping with each other.

@Mlie I have updated Custom Schedules to 1.5, and I see you've updated your Trello to reflect it. In the info section here you're linking to the old mod. Would it be possible to add a link to the 1.5 version too ?

hmm, so I suggested something like this for making DeepRim more usable.

But I think this or the Custom Schedules mod will get my pawns to the mineshaft each morning/night.

Now I just need something to automate Gizmo (button) presses, to make the elevator go up/down.

Lets say i got a construction project i want to focus on. Would the pawns still be allowed to get materials from outside of the defined construction zone?

@smitty_the_smith @MeatBeatMarv @NRFBToyStore I uploaded an updated version of Custom Schedules, should fix many errors, and adds Scheduled Areas that can be combined with a Pawn's name, or Job Title. Ill look into making colonist type schedules soon, aka slaves, prisoners, etc. and maybe for xenotypes too. or like raid only area schedules, or weather schedules, time of day schedules, mixing them together, the only problem is it may hit a frame when analyzing these if the area list gets huge.

Pawns don't seem to be returning to "Unrestricted" after their zoned schedule time has finished. Weather I leave the schedule unrestricted, or slot an hour of another schedule type at the end, they just stay trapped in the Meditate zone.

I use this mod to stop colonists from leaving base when its dark caus it gives a big penalty to movement speed and work speed so they shouldnt be outside when its dark. however, there is a problem with night owls, and undergrounders whom i dont want to have their zones change, or i want it to be reverse. The solution is to just not have those in colony for now :)

@smitty_the_smith Not yet, but I was LITERALLY about to ask for that feature on "Custom Schedules" which is a fork of this mod. I would love a feature to do like "Work:Slaves" and "Recreation:Slave".

@Klldarkness I made a fork for myself of this does just that. And added 6 schedules with customizable names. To get a an area specific to a pawn, you name the area "Schedule0;Susan" And the pawn named Susan will go to this area when assigned to Schedule0, or to Area named "Schedule0" if the first there is no Susan specific area.

Fantastic mod mile! The only thing missing is being able to activate this for specific pawns only, and/or custom zones assignable to the schedule. I have a set of slaves that I only use for cleaning, and I'd love to have them restricted to their area during times that aren't work, and then the work zone area outside of that. Would be super useful!

I think @BladeofSharpness has a great idea. Having /slightly/ more versatility would make this mod a must have in my books.

The mod has potential but is very limited in its use as of now, given the 'hardcoded' names we can have.
I understand though that making a GUI for this mod, given you handle already 500+ mods is problematic. So I thought of the issue. Have an improved naming convention, so you just need to parse a few strings and have no need for a new GUI.

Example:

Area would be named WorkMlie. This would translate to having a zone to schedule for occupation 'work' for any pawn whose name starts with 'Mlie', so perhaps MlieJoe and MlieGloria, who knows?

This way we have added versatiliy without the need of a new GUI.

:O I've ALWAYS been looking for a way to set colonist's area by the hour. I'm so happy to have found this!! Being only able to set zones where *everyone* can work, meditate, or recreate seems limited though. Is there any way to set it to custom zones per colonist per hour?

I wanted to set it unrestricted except recreation time, so I only created recreation area. Seems it doesn't work that way since they never go back to unrestricted and stay in recreation area. And there's a critical problem that this mod caused my game to set all of my animals ignore zone restriction.

That would solve the problem of all pawns being confined to one area. And also would enable you to designate many different zones for different occasions.

I would like to propose a counter to the checkbox idea that Psyra proposed. Similar to adding new zones would it be possible (and perhaps easier than the checkbox thing) to add an option for creating new schedule types.

Aw I hoped this was one that let me set specific areas for specific times of day(so separate of if they're doing work/rec/etc), but it still looks very useful
