You don't need ZPS mounted for this to work. Either you have conflicting addons or too many for that matter.

That doesn't always work though. Some maps just cannot be noded without the VMF.

If you're building a new nodegraph with Nodegraph Editor then likely the original nodegraph is overwriting the new one. In that sense you'll have to toggle ai_norebuildgraph to 0 if you don't want the map to generate it's original one.

actually darkborn i tried using the nodegraph but everytime i properly use it wont work even if i try again and again it just wont work and pls take your time finishing what kind of objectives you are doing rn

i had a glitch where a survivor when he got infected and turned into a zombie the zombie was stuck inside him and the zombie is invincible and got this error code

It's a boss zombie only in Flatline mode. And yes the Contagion pack will be getting reworked in the future.

oh, and I've wondered about this for a while. I've played for over 15 hours in total, but I've never seen any "riot brute" was that enemy actually one from the original or just an inspired concept for a proper boss zombie in the pack?

Fair enough, I feel like the majority of GModders have probably never even heard of Stubbs haha. Yeah that is how ZPS does it, oddly. I was just crossing my fingers to have it as an option. I find it to be one of your trademarks, and I just love seeing it during gameplay. It's one of those things that brings a bit of immersion to GMod. Either way, it's a top-shelf addon!

I don't own that game sadly, plus it runs on a different engine which I have no idea to port from. Since I only port models from GoldSrc and Source. As for the infection animation that's essentially how it is in ZPS, they don't use a animation when turning which is funny.

Man, I've always considered this to be one of the most underrated addons on the workshop, and the latest update made it even better. Cheers!

I will say that I'd love to see an infection animation though, just for gameplay purposes. I enjoy the ones in GMod of the Dead. Somewhat unrelated, but have you considered doing a port of the Stubbs The Zombie NPC's?

Restarted gmod and it fixed it. Something to do with uninstalling from workshop then joining the server without restarting the game broke them so they were invisible. Also took me a bit to understand that the map spawner was what spawns zombies on the map. I assumed it worked like Zombie Invasion + and thought the addon was just plain broken.

Only advice I can give is try to clean up your addons or Gmod.

@mojyhhn_2 - When a Zombie infects you when your HP is below 50, you'll have 15 seconds until succumbing to infection. However if the zombie that infected you is killed then you'll just die instead of turning, VJ Base reasons.

@Snowbawlzzz - The Map Spawner works for any map, just be sure it has a nodegraph. It'll only spawn zombies when your ignore players option is disabled or you have NPCs the Zombies will target.

What does "zombie map spawner" do? I hear a zombified voice when I click it, but there are no discernable changes to the map. Is there a specific map this mod is meant to be used on, wherein that button spawns zombies?
