You can noclip out to view the map in a private server. You can't do that publicly as obviously that would be unfair

i've been noticing the map is doing the edicts thing again after creating a navmesh and then going to select a class.

Well, I guess do that then? It's possible that it's confused by the sealed off maze or that it just times out when the map is too big

when I do nav_edit 1, there was no navmesh. So it is the navmesh I just don't know how to fix it. Unless I go around doing nav_mark_walkable all over the map before each time I want to play. On the original map nav_generate just worked

Are you sure it's the map and not the nav mesh? I do know people have gotten bots to work. I think RTGame has a video with bots in it

uh nvm theyre now stuck elsewhere, I guess outside the nav_mark_walkable range??? nothing i try is working

Seemingly fixed it by doing nav_mark_walkable a few times in spawn and the start of the maze, then doing nav_generate_incremental (in case anyone else has this issue)

Hey DocValentyne, good news. After a huge adventure with this gigantic map, Source spaghetti and help from other mappers, I've fixed this map. It should work fine now. This turned out to be a problem with the way Source handles lights, and even though the number was under the limit, for some reason it handles them differently when a player joins. I've done a workaround for this problem for now, and you should be able to play this map just fine now, once the Steam moderators approve it. Once it's ready, let me know how it goes!

I recompiled the map and it looks like this issue is still in place. Really the only thing I can think of to do is beg the potted plant to fix it.

Actually, I tried it just now and it does crash for me as well (when I said it worked for me before I meant in general not just now). It's possible that a TF2 update has broken this map. I'll have to see what the deal is.

No, because after you choose a class is when you spawn in and more rendering starts to occur.

also its crashing after i choose a class not after i load the map. it should crash the game after it loads if it was my computer prob

I think if i can run SCP:SL i can run this map. ive also been able to run SCP ARC Area-74 on GMod so i dont think its my computer... but who knows.

Might be your own machine then. It might just not be able to run a map this big or something. Can you try with GeForce NOW or similar?

May I ask what the leaks exactly are? Like memory leaks that cause the map to dip in framerates?
