Mod options are in menu>options>mod options (or install my library mod and they'll be in menu>mod options).
No I think it now ignores rocks crashing into buildings, I'll stick old version back up for now.
I did notice some issue just now though: For some reason 4 meteors just smashed 3 Triboelectric Scrubbers, 2 MDS Lasers, and 1 Advanced Stirling Generator which were all around my launchpads.
Is it possible that launchpads don't get counted as buildings, and it ignores meteors landing on them because of that?
Aside from that it still is weird that meteors managed to damage buildings, i suspect that meteors have an aoe instead of only affecting a single hex, could it be that the "ignores buildings" option only checks for the center hex of the incoming meteor, and thinks it won't hit the building because it doesn't account for the aoe?
Checks for rocks first, then buildings, then resources.
That might leave more meteors with goodies inside land around your base without having the risk of damaging your buildings and costing you materials, but at the same time it removes a majority of empty meteors that might hit your drones/rovers, so that you don't lose as many drones/rovers?
I have manually fired off a few meteors and you get a decent amount?
Still 78% chance of just rocks though: https://github.com/surviving-mars/SurvivingMars/blob/master/Lua/Meteors.lua#L30
Has anybody made any experience with how things play out when you set them to ignore meteors that don't hit buildings?
I feel like whenever i'm not actively using an area but still have it covered with a drone grid and pipes/cables it shoots down a lot of potentially useful meteors that are very far away from everything, but on the other hand i'm worried that they might completely annihilate all my drones and rovers because they aren't buildings.
Ignore No Buildings: Meteors that land away from buildings are ignored (units are a dice roll).
Mod name changed to Ignorant Meteor Defence.

When I requested this feature (to not shoot meteor that is falling into empty ground despite it is falling in MDS Laser's range.) in Surviving Mars Modders Community Discord channel. someone introduced this mod to me, and recommended you to add my idea on this mod.
Is my requested idea realized in this mod?
