errors dont go away after using kill command either so i had to disable this addon until i figure out if its a conflict or not

the error number count ramps up insanely fast, the digit with the "1" in the (x5162) goes up by one each second xD

Alright. I have recoded the addon again, hopefully this is the last time I have to do it. Also yes, the crosshair is necessary for firstperson because even in firstperson the engine still hides the crosshair so a custom one needs to be rendered in the absence, but the addon now hooks all the original gamemode stuff and uses gamemode hooks now so compatibility should not longer be an issue. The crosshair is now also off by default.

item conflicts with the PAC3 mod while using Easy Thirdperson

when activating thirdperson for the first time in a session, for a split second it shows your playermodel normally but then it switches to a bugged version of your viewmodel, after that it always shows it in thirdperson.

also, is the crosshair really necessary? some people dont read descriptions so they wouldnt know that the custom crosshair is from this mod.

cool addon, but it breaks the models when you look at them through wiremod rt camera or ulx thirdperson mode

Did you set 'fixedtaunting_drawcrosshair' to false?
And yeah I know about the CalcView issues and whatnot I just haven't done anything to fix it yet

it makes my crosshair never dissapear. also makes body disapear when you go into vrmod.

The gun will still appear in their hands and they will still rotate towards you

Look, I'm not trying to attack you over this lol. I just wanted to know the thought process behind it. I just figured a mod to cancel taunts when you press a movement key would've been a smarter way to do that. That way you can tell if that player has a gun pointed at you.

The entire point of this addon is to let you move and taunt at the same time. "Moving" can be anything, driving a vehicle, fighting, walking around, doing whatever you want, the entire point of a sandbox game. If you don't like it, then don't use the addon.

You don't aim while taunting in TF2
You don't aim while taunting in Fortnite
You don't aim while taunting in any game.
Why here? Being able to fight while taunting is weird as fuck and I don't think it makes sense to promote doing that. There's a reason no game ever has done that lmao

Because, by default, taunting will hide the default HL2 crosshair, even when in first person. So if you're dancing but trying to aim, you won't have a crosshair, so I made a replica of the HL2 crosshair so that when you dance you'll see the replica in the original's absence

Whenever I have this mod enabled I see a crosshair like the one when you have the simple thirdperson mod on, but I don't have anything enabled besides your mod. It's a four-pronged yellow crosshair.

I believe I have fixed the issue, it appeared to be an issue with the PreDrawViewModel returning true while holding an ArcCW weapon crashing the game

for some reason there is a permanent crosshair that doesnt go away, i checked and it comes from this addon. though it isnt a huge problem its still a tad bit annoying.

I finally managed that this addon breaks every viewbob addon. So yeah, both SharpEye. Cbobbing and even smooth camera don't work.

Okay! It's even funnier that I have XDR and it breaks kick animation in singleplayer (it's fine in multiplayer/or when I have empty hands holdtype/or jumping, yeah that's funny) and it still breaks all taunts. Now I understand what VManip author mean about thirdperson animations with lua

I knew the issue was with BSMod and looking into it, if BSMod knows that you're in thirdperson, it won't do the kick animation the way it tries to do it normally so the player won't break but for some reason, somehow, it thinks you're not in thirdperson so it messes up your player.

Oh, I found the reason. BSmod kick animation is making issues. I removed it from BSmod addon and everything works awesome now. Thank you for this addon!

It has issues with bsmod kick animation too, yea - same animation breaking for dance'n'die.

Might you try to fix shit-issues when you're dying if taunt is playing? All animations (not only taunts) are fucked up if you are killed
