Spawns in a dedicated station. You might be fighting a faction, though. Make sure to check the briefing - it will tell you who you're fighting.

A question, do this mission spawn a dedicated station for the mission or does it require me to attack an already existing faction?

I've talked with Cassie. It looks like a lot of the new weapons are 'high tech' and only spawn close to the barrier. If you are accessing the weapon foundries closer to the iron / titanium regions, there is nothing wrong with the mod and it is correct that you are seeing only mining / salvage lasers.

no errors that I see, ive disabled everything except the new missions and capital foundrys and their dependencies and the problem still persists

HI, love the your new missions mods but I've found some sort of conflict with Cassies Capital Weapons Foundry mod. One of (or all, Ive not gotten to test much) of the new missions mods seem to somehow cause their foundrys to only sell mining/salvage weapons.Not sure who's end this is on or if it would even be fixable so I thought Id tell you both

Yeah sorry. That's an issue with the base game. It's pretty rude about not updating mods automatically. Shit is stupid but what can you do. I usually update the patch version only so people don't run into the same problem that you did but I felt that changes were severe enough to warrant a minor version update.

Hello. Today I had some problems with this mod on my server. As stated in patch notes
> Updates modinfo to require ESCC 1.7.20
As the Avorion server allows patch version mismatch when validating client mods I was unable to connect.
"Error while enabling mod: 2439444436 is problematic: Mod 'Extra Ship Classes Core' [2207469437]'s version 1.7.17 doesn't match 'New Mission - Attack Research Base' [2439444436]'s requirement: 1.7.20 to 0.0."
Honestly, it looks like there is also a problem with Steam/Avorion as "Extra Ship Classes Core" wasn't updated on the server side either (was v1.7.18). I'm not sure what caused it - had to redownload all mods and it solved this problem for me

well ive removed the mod so will know 4 sure now soon when i try the mods again really annoying we gotta start a new universe everytime u change a mod meh...

missions seem to not work i get the mission but ships never show up on location and fail when timer goes out do you think bigger astorid variants coulod cause this ?

Made a whole bunch of updates to this today. Among other things, the mission now shows you who the target faction is in the bulletin.

Question, would it be possible to specify which Faction you are about to fight in the mission Description? I haven't taken any missions yet due to that being unclear.

I'm asking because in terms of the games code, the faction you start with doesn't have any enemies (which is why there are no faction wars going on for the starting faction).

So I'm wondering if "enemy" factions are always pirate ones or if they can also be one of the neighbors.
