We don’t look at comment section of our mod for issues. Any issues reported using our Google forms (as per the instructions in mod description) have been fixed.

If people don’t report properly, they should expect us to respond accordingly.

Did the update fix the numerous issues people have in the comments? I really like this mod, but I too had to unfortunately remove it.

Coming back to play again, and it breaks my heart to see the comments. I really, really liked this mod. Hopefully they'll address the issues. Hurt to have to remove it while I was cleaning up my list of mods.

Is it possible for the "beer party" event to be tweaked? Two of my colonists just got addicted to the psychite tea I had for my wasters, because they grabbed a "beer" together and the beer was psychite tea.

This mod has a lot of issues. I'm getting insane slowdowns in some games out of nowhere. The issue seems to be related to this mod, pawns are frozen trying to do anything because they're getting stuck with a check from this mod for interactions, some of the most random, instead, are related to "royalty: exalted" meme, which I had to use dev mode to remove from my ideology. Disabled the mod and no longer having issues.

I have been having a lot of awful bugs that I've kind of chalked up to a natural consequence of having 100+ mods, but after reading the comments and removing this one mod suddenly everything works smoother. Really awesome mod that I was so hesitant to get rid of because I absolutely adored it, but... buggy, buggy mess from the dev team that wants you to spend an hour doing your own testing for them to accept bug reports. Are we surprised

So been reading a lot of comments and looks like this mod is bugged AF at the moment. So sad hopefully Sarg looks into it or whoever is in charge with fixing the mods

does this mod cause a standing issue? ever since i got this mod some pawns when going to bed will just stand next to the bed and it gives me like a "somebody tried to do 10 of something" in the dev log and it then just holds them there forever.

i think this mod is stoping raid spawns, in the log alot of yellow appears and social expanded is the only thing is appearing with raidspawns

Actually, no, you can't disable the inspirations. I set the inspirations to the "X" and it doesn't let me leave the menu until I turn it back on. I manually go and turn inspirations off in the config files, and even though the game says inspirations are off, I STILL get nonsense like inspired planting and it still says things like "X would like to perform a surgery" when I get inspired surgery, but the inspiration doesn't go away when I tell them to do surgery just to get rid of the worthless garbage inspiration.

super cool mod but i get warnings every couple minutes in the logs

This keeps making 20 warnings every minute or so in the logs. I don't know how to solve these. It happens every save game with random corpses, etc. It all comes down to this mod.

The teaching thing is also problematic (although the toggle for that actually works), as it gives pawns skills I don't want them to have because it further dilutes the inspiration pool. I wouldn't mind all the useless inspirations you threw in there as much if you made inspirations more common or having one inspiration didn't stop you from getting another, but having to wait through 10 days of my 2 plants skill animal tamer having inspired planting is really annoying.

While I like a lot of Vanilla Expanded stuff, the inspirations in this one are seriously messing with my game. I have a character who only has skills above 6 in shooting, animals, and crafting, and I've been waiting for an animal taming inspiration for three years now. I have not gotten ANY of the vanilla inspirations, only party frenzy, flirting frenzy, and four SIMULTANEOUS trading frenzies. I can't even disable inspirations in the mod - I can set it to an "X" but then the game literally will not let me close the screen and confirm. It just makes a click when I hit the button and does not close the window.

not really related to the mod itself but i like how the graphic for "funural" on the mod page is the same as all the other ones with like an "exciting and action" based look to the bubble

truly the most action packed and Adrenalin educing activity.

Okay, so I've reported a bug via the form in the description - what is the process then? I didn't receive any confirmation that you even received a report beyond the window itself saying "form submitted"
Not that I'm expecting anything to happen - mine is an extremely niche case that I doubt would happen to a lot of people. Would be nice to know you at least got it.

@LotLP Agreed. The social interactions and dating is a nice touch, but the inspirations seem massively strange - 0 handling wanting to tame anything that requires a minimum of 3 in handling. Non-surgeons having inspired surgery with 0 medical. My original pawn got the flu and suddenly gained the cowardly trait after killing a few hundred people w/o issue. Wish it was more logical.

I like the extra social interactions this mod adds, but the changes to inspirations are really annoying. I wish I could disable or change that, but getting -5 for 5 days as a penalty for having high mood (which causes inspiration) is awful. I tend to just remove that moodlet with character editor when it happens so that I don't delete this mod out of frustration.

Stupid question, but do events like dating, birthday parties, picnics, or one night stands need a certain number of colonists to trigger? My current run has 7 people, with 2 marriages already. They've had a binge party, but nothing else. Thanks in advance.

It would be nice to have a more descriptive mod options menu. What are the differences between inspirations and aspirations in the context of the mod? There is nothing in the description defining aspirations. Are they just the goals and mood buffs of the inspirations?

Posting this to balance the hate; I have about 100 mods and I've never had issues or bugs with this mod, nor have I had any issues with any mods I use for that matter. Thanks for this mod btw, one my absolute favorite!

This mod seemed cool until it made every single one of my pawns do recreation for a split second then go to a different form of recreation over and over and over and over again never actually getting any recreation

Which mod option remove the effect on pawns opinions of each other from eating human flesh? "__ ate human flesh, I will always be afraid of them." Is that even something I can disable?

Any way to disable the [pawn] was previously our enemy debuff? I cannot find it in configs and I don't really want to disable the memories as a whole, just that one debuff specifically.

Been using this mod since probably 1.3 and I finally have enough. New trait mechanic is RIDICULOUS. All my pawns get in my recent saves are shits like slowpoke or chem facination or delicate or slow learner. Pretty sure that the authors always turn this mechanic off when they do their extensive testing, otherwise it would be removed long ago.

I really like this mod though I think the memory system feels a bit too random. Like big events such as being cheated on should have a better chance of creating a long lasting memory

I would recommend disabling "Obtaining new traits" from mod options, unless you want to risk random unwanted trait for your pawns.
Otherwise the mod is a nice addition, it adds extra life to your colony.

When I play with this mod, I don't encounter any bugs. When youtubers play with this mod, they also don't encounter any.

Bear in mind a lot of people who report bugs in the comments (which they shouldn't do based on the mod description which informs you about the correct way to report bugs) use this mod with 400-600 other mods and don't even tell us which ones. As such, we're refusing to troubleshoot their issues.

a pawn went on a murderous rage which gave him a -95 opinion modifier with everyone but for some reason that started increasing slowly to -300 out of nowhere

I've found a bug. I've had a pawn join the colony due to a "Unforgettable Ritual" effect. For some reason, everyone hates her because "She was previously our enemy, I don't trust her".

... she was never our enemy. She didn't exist in the game before being spawned in as a reward for the ritual due to our ideology. Can this be fixed? I've already tried "Character Editor" and the moodlet/social node doesn't show up on anyone's list to be deleted, so its just a permanent penalty right now.

if there was a manual interaction that you make your colonist go watch tv or do some recreation stuff by doing manually (activated from you)

Oh, it really does just give your colonists the modded inspirations even when they're turned off! That's incredibly silly.
