Thanks for your feedback, I'll be looking into a different way to implement the gear checking to make it more effective in the future
We only used the modular that only spawn the gas without the entity tho.
And we I tested before the ops, the mask can give protection to player in the same dedicated server.
Hotfix pushed, I missed a line in the damage script, it should work fine now... The blur and screenshake have been removed.
Check the bug notes at the bottom of the description above, you need to wait a delay of a few seconds between placing multiple modules, it is best done through zeus and not the editor. If the problem still persists then I'm afraid I'm unsure how to resolve the issue :(
I've also noticed that placing more than one module is a little broken and rather than placing multiple toxic areas it just spawns them all on top of the first module placed.
Other than that, thanks for looking into it so quickly.
I'm working on this issue - at the moment the acid puddle damage isn't working as intended.
As for AI units, they will only take damage when a player is in the area affected by the gas. It will hopefully be fixed in future, at the moment it is a side effect of how the script is activated, and I'm trying different adaptations to try and get it implemented properly.
Still working on the damage system for vanilla + healing.
Also let me know if the damage needs balancing, you should receive burns to the chest area to simulate something like inhaling a corrosive gas, with a small chance to fall unconscious.
Also note that currently, the acid puddles do not do damage, I am still working this issue out.
Also adding a module to delete the effects, and fixing the bombs so the effect disperses after 2 minutes

I'm not sure if this is just me, but I place the module for just the gas and puddles down in the editor and when playing, if I walk into the gas without a mask the unit takes damage, but it does not appear in the ACE medical menu.
Checking in Zeus it appear the unit takes vanilla damage but this can only be Zeus healed. The mask, coughing, blurred vision etc all work, it's just the damage at this point.
If you have any suggestions, or if there's something that I'm obviously missing, please let me know.
If you or anyone else wants to make compat mods to add extra gasmasks, go right ahead!

can you elaborate? (I may possibly facepalm myself for missing your intent when you explain it to me, I've been known to miss the obvious)

I've added in a non-puddle version of the module, it'll still spawn one puddle at the center but this can be hidden with ZEN :) Can't get rid of that unfortunately, it's part of what the script uses to center the spawning of the gas on...

but i relly love the mod its awsome :D
I'm going to compare with an earlier versions settings and see what I've done, because I noticed it wasn't as thick after updating it too. might change a few settings and see what results I can get.
This is indeed a very cool addon man, works pretty well in multiplayer (dedicated server) too.
What I noticed with one of the recent updates tho, when you pass through the toxic field, it kinda slowly disappears (visually) around you, is that intended or was I just too used to the thicker fog version before the update?

Also got a new addition, I'm adding GBU-12 Toxin bombs in this update, they act like a normal GBU but add a toxin field when they explode :)
