Hey, what a great mod, man! Love the effects and vibrant colour, I will make great use of this for my little Dayz ish mission. However I am getting a small error after previewing in Eden - "Sound connect_gasmask not found". Any idea how to fix it, or perhaps should I pay nevermind to it? Thanks in advance, again beautiful module, something I was looking for a long time :)

we used the toxin modular in tonight's Ops with 17 players in our own dedicated server, both the server and clients side are loaded with the mod, but it seems only the Gas Mask gain from Ace virtual arsenal can protect the players, players use the same kind mask loot from ammo box or enemies bodies would not provide the protection from toxic gas.

We only used the modular that only spawn the gas without the entity tho.

And we I tested before the ops, the mask can give protection to player in the same dedicated server.

This mod will still exist, just without the bombs. The bombs will be found in the other mod, "Munitions Armoury", and have been improved.

IMPORTANT : Toxin bomb will be removed this weekend - it has been moved over to my "Munitions Armoury" mod. This mod will be henceforth focused on the entity anomaly and gas field / puddle modules only.

Hotfix pushed, I missed a line in the damage script, it should work fine now... The blur and screenshake have been removed.

The new update may have a bug, even when player are not in the toxic cloud ranges, the player will act as if was in the ranges, would breath heavily and the sight will become blur, but no damage tho.

Check the bug notes at the bottom of the description above, you need to wait a delay of a few seconds between placing multiple modules, it is best done through zeus and not the editor. If the problem still persists then I'm afraid I'm unsure how to resolve the issue :(

After checking out the new update it looks like the ACE medical issue has been fixed, which is awesome! Currently it just stacks thermal burns on the chest like you said so it might be a good idea to increase the damage done slightly to make it a little more dangerous?
I've also noticed that placing more than one module is a little broken and rather than placing multiple toxic areas it just spawns them all on top of the first module placed.
Other than that, thanks for looking into it so quickly.

I'm working on this issue - at the moment the acid puddle damage isn't working as intended.
As for AI units, they will only take damage when a player is in the area affected by the gas. It will hopefully be fixed in future, at the moment it is a side effect of how the script is activated, and I'm trying different adaptations to try and get it implemented properly.

Updated, please let me know if the issue with ACE medical persists.
Still working on the damage system for vanilla + healing.
Also let me know if the damage needs balancing, you should receive burns to the chest area to simulate something like inhaling a corrosive gas, with a small chance to fall unconscious.
Also note that currently, the acid puddles do not do damage, I am still working this issue out.

Almost got a fix sorted :)
Also adding a module to delete the effects, and fixing the bombs so the effect disperses after 2 minutes

Regarding damage issues, I'll have to look into it when I get time. I may have to release an ACE damage version, or change how damage is applied. This will take some time to fix, I apologise for the bug, it seemed to work ok in testing

Hey, fan of the mod but it doesn't seem to function with ACE medical.
I'm not sure if this is just me, but I place the module for just the gas and puddles down in the editor and when playing, if I walk into the gas without a mask the unit takes damage, but it does not appear in the ACE medical menu.
Checking in Zeus it appear the unit takes vanilla damage but this can only be Zeus healed. The mask, coughing, blurred vision etc all work, it's just the damage at this point.
If you have any suggestions, or if there's something that I'm obviously missing, please let me know.

@Wenza mate, thank you for that. It would be really nice if you could add CBA Settings options to add other masks and suits so players will be able to customize these things themselves. Mask overlay has been removed, and the breathing sounds as well, in response to community feedback. Hope this makes for a more pleasing experience :)

@Wenza, just something that you can add to your config code blocks on helmets or facegear. Pretty much just - Toxic_Protection = 1/0; - then your script can just do a search of compatible protection gear. Similar to how task force radio has you set the radio frequency sides in the configs

I've added in a non-puddle version of the module, it'll still spawn one puddle at the center but this can be hidden with ZEN :) Can't get rid of that unfortunately, it's part of what the script uses to center the spawning of the gas on...

I changed the colour a bit, made it slightly more yellow, and increased the alpha a bit
I'm going to compare with an earlier versions settings and see what I've done, because I noticed it wasn't as thick after updating it too. might change a few settings and see what results I can get.

No worries, I ended up reuploading my version as friends only last night to try it out with the boys, good to know I can delete it now :D

This is indeed a very cool addon man, works pretty well in multiplayer (dedicated server) too.

What I noticed with one of the recent updates tho, when you pass through the toxic field, it kinda slowly disappears (visually) around you, is that intended or was I just too used to the thicker fog version before the update?

Also got a new addition, I'm adding GBU-12 Toxin bombs in this update, they act like a normal GBU but add a toxin field when they explode :)
