Where I live in Scranton we have an area where they have about 10 of these style house and you cant really appreciate them until youre standing in front of one, they are a true work of art. One was recently sold for $90,000,000.00.

You know what's bad about your assets? That you create just one a month! I wish I could have an entire neighborhood full of these in different styles! :D

@dudemeister. If you change the width and offset as Lieu suggested, or choose a different building template in the editor, for a 3x3 or 4x4, etc.. then you'll also have to go back into Blender and reposition the building/origin to a spot that makes sense on the larger lot and reexport the FBX. That would have to be repeated for the LOD model.

Personally since I focus more on dense urban development I like the smaller lots.

Appreciate the tip Lieu! Width adjustments work fine, but unfortunately moving the offset to 3 or 4 tiles moves the building way back in the lot. Tried choosing a different "base" building in the editor with bigger lot dimensions - no dice. Think it's just my game : (

To change the tile size (up to 4x4), just change the Width and Offset properties in the Asset Editor.

Waif, that's rad as hell. Inman is a dope neighborhood, especially with the Beltline & L5P not too far. Must've been sweet having memories with those parks & cottages, hope I did this house justice :)

Gilded - def go for the Cleveland house. Seems like a perfect entry. Complex roofs & additions usually take the most time. Oh, and anything curved can be... challenging lol. Look forward to it tho!

I didn't read this and just saw that this is in Inman Park!! I grew up two neighborhoods over...this is great, well done!

@Dudemeister - cool. I stayed in an Airbnb in Inman Park a couple years back. Went to Krog and Ponce Markets along the belt trail. Definitely nice houses in that Inman neighborhood.

As for inspiration. I'm still researching but 3107 Archwood Ave in Cleveland seems like it would be something very different than what is currently on the workshop but still not too time intensive. I also like some of the houses in this slideshow from Adrian Michigan.

Haha you nailed one of my techniques Gilded - "queen anne victorian" is one of my top Google searches. For this one, I currently live in ATL and walked past this house irl. Fell in love! As for ease... it was rough lol. They're all so unique & complex. A Queen Anne cottage maybe?

Cool. I've got to start researching what victorian/queen anne I will attempt first. How did you identify these specific homes in Inman Park and Edenton. Just google searches for "queen anne homes" ? Or is there some other resource you were mining?

Looks great. Really loving the columns, and the gingerbread details on the gables.

Here in Spokane, Washington (and in other places) entire neighborhoods of these have been renovated into apartments. Drive near the Gonzaga University campus and they fill Greek Row. I love these. Great job.

this is based, can't ever have enough of these kinds of homes. also idk if you take requests or suggestions or whatnot, but if you do, some historic homes of areas like heritage hills in okc or swiss ave in dallas would be awesome :D
