When ever I enter the crimson with this pack on, the music volume just goes to 0

Adventurous Asriel, by old lighting, do you mean particles or real lighting? Retro lighting can be enabled in the settings

You can change the lighting in the graphics option or with one of the F buttons, or maybe I'm gettin mixed up with terraria 1.1
