Oh dang, you're completely right! I always figured I could have missed a buff or two so I'm surprised to hear of one wayyy after I released this thing. Thanks though! I've updated the pack with the Flinx Buff properly having a purple background.
I would imagine this works with Calamity, it's just that if Calamity has its own buffs (which I believe it has), then the specific buffs from Calamity won't have coloured backgrounds. This only retextures the vanilla buffs.
So it's up to you if you want to get this for just the vanilla buffs while playing Calamity, or not so you have consistency across all buff backgrounds.
I also made the now permanent buffs like the Summoning Station have a dark blue background, so keep in mind those buffs are not partly yellow like before when they were timed.

Unfortunately the latter is true, every buff icon has its background in the same image, making it not work out of the box with mods. I had to manually cut out the icons and put it over my desired background to make a new image, so yeah, hand-adjusted like you said.

Oh, food buffs are already rainbow coloured, I see now that I call them "well feds" in the description but that isn't really correct. I'll correct that, thanks for the indirect heads-up!
Anyways, food buffs are rainbow, which in my playthroughs have stood out quite well among the other coloured buffs.
The problem with making the food buffs blue and green is the fact those colors are already used, and while blue makes sense for the stat buffs that food gives you, green doesn't (green is for weapon imbuements). I'll have food buffs stay rainbow for that cause, and also because they boost just about every stat, naturally being symbolized by a rainbow.
Of course! It took me a while to update to 1.4.3 due to me being pretty lazy about it, but knowing there's demand for 1.4.4 (like you just clued me in on) will likely contribute to make me update this way faster :)
(Though, if there are many new buffs, finding out what each buff does might take a little while!)
Good point! I just now made a little outline for it (included in a small patch) and it is now way more noticeable in-game.
Unfortunately buffs are just transparent, which is done in-game rather than in the texture itself (making a non-transparent version impossible to my knowledge). Thanks for the kind comments though, I very much appreciate them!
