I actually have no clue why, just put the building slots above in the load order and it should work.

anyone else really bothered by the glowing blue flaming noise on the lammasu ... why is it doing that? it is like a glowing ball of light. .... is it a texture or anabilty effect?

and can i turn it off?

whats up the balance on these guys? maybe ive loaded the mod wrong or something but ill have dwarve warriors with 1900 health against spearmen with 3000 and better armour etc

For some reason this mod overrides the spear-men, halberds, crossbowmen, and hand gunners in Ado's lore friendly empire re-skin. After going through 250 mods I have narrowed it down to this mod being the issue. It is weird because if I only disable this mod, and keep the required mods listed on the right of this page and the OVN SFO patch then the re-skin works fine.


Last question, do we need the OVN SFO patch if we use this mod?

The K' Daai Destroyer's model was recently changed in the base mod so atm it appears a bit broken. Take a look at it when you get the chance

The one troll unit for chaos dwarf (the regiment of renown one) does not have regeneration, even though the tooltip says so

Figured out the culprit FFS! It was those 4K Ultra HD faction mods... Wow, i guess it's not compatible with my many reskin mods. Anyway, thank you.

what mods do you have enabled? Post the list in the submods channel in the SFO discord, it's a lot easier to sort this kind of thing out there.

I deleted all my mods and resubscribed. This time I only installed those that are working according to peoples comments, I did not sub to any outdated mods and after a meticulous and tedious work of reading and organizing, I gave it another shot. I launch the the game and everything seemed like it was going flawless. I did a test check with Kraka Drak and this time it loaded all the way and I thought "oh, wow finally" but right in the end of the loading bar at 99% loaded it CTD. I'm done trying, too frustrated with trying to figure this shit out.

Do I need something else besides Mixu's Unlocker? Do i need the Community Framework or something because every time i try to play as Chaos Dwarfs or any of Mixu's expanded rosters i get a damn crash. I have followed the total war modding guide to the fullest, I downloaded KMM and installed only acceptable and compatible sub mods specifically for SFO. I downloaded most of my collection from Valfaris's collection for SFO. He has an awesome collection btw but please keep in mind some of them are out of date and not working like Kislev Reborn, High Elf Sea Patrol, etc. Every time I play a faction like Choas Dwarfs or Kraka Drak for example I get a CTD while in the loading screen before starting a new campaign! Someone please help if you know a workaround! :steamfacepalm:

Before anyone starts asking for an update due to the chorf mod update, I will be updating this *after* SFO updates (a week basically). This is because there is a large number of entries I have to change for the SFO update and since I have other things going on irl I'd rather get everything done at once. It should still work, but the new bull chariot mount option won't be balanced.

perhaps an incompatibility with another mod, but what's weird is that it was working nice with my whole mod list until OvN was updated. Disabling this specifically fixed the crashes and I had downloaded no new mods

Just wondering if you would consider writing an optional sub mod for Unnatural Selection 2 that allows that mod to buff the Chaos Dwarves. In real battle they are a dangerous late game threat, but against the AI in auto resolve they are completely hapless and lose to everyone.

I've even used the console mod to give them 15 settlements at the start and 500k gold, and they still end up losing to anyone they fight because of the auto resolve.

I'm also not sure how to activate Drazhoath the Ashen's spell Veil of Shadows from the prophet of Ash and Ruin skill. It seems like it should be a vortex spell but I don't see the activate button on either side. Anyone else know how it works?

Hi bainb132, again thank you so much for working on these for us! One thing I noticed about the various faction SFO patches is that heroes and lords tend to fall behind, as SFO has a number of faction wide recruit ranks + with buildings for lords and heroes, where as these patched versions do not.

For instance I can only get the hobgoblin khan's at level 1 (hero version), which makes the agent war all but unwinnable. While the tech tree does allow for some buffs to lord recruit ranks and chaos dwarf hero ranks, its still quite small in comparison to any of the regular SFO factions (with appropriate buildings).

I dunno if you're in charge of stances, but the raid encampment does not offer reduced upkeep like the standard raid. I would think it should, but maybe this is intentional. AR definitely blows, but thats out of our hands.

Something is off with balance, 20 stack of CD is loosing to a 1st-turn revolt in AR, a walled settlement is losing to a just spawned revolt, etc. I can't leave my starter province or i'm instantly loosing a settlement.

Was about to mention the slave ogre issue, yeah. OVN swapped out models in an update a while back and that unit became a spaghetti abomination too. Good luck on the fix and thanks for the submod!
