Warning using this mod, for example, if you want to do the terraforming mission and you HQ have these storage on it, the drone for the terraforming doesn't be crafted

it works for 6.0 if anyone is curious. I play the Star Wars mod so I don't use this but it works for 6.0. I tested it

Not super easily unless you're familiar with modding this game. You'd have to download the X Rebirth Catalog Tool (it works for X4) to turn the CAT files in my mod into XML files that you can then edit. Then you change the content.xml file (unique ID needs to be different to this mod) and essentially run the mod locally and unsub from here. That'd let you change the mod files any way you want.

Hey! Yeah you're right. In hindsight I think I made the Spl, Arg, Tel and Par M and S modules way too small. The problem is that the Container storage of those races are significantly smaller than the Liquid and Solid. I originally just made the modules slightly smaller than the container versions but that results in S modules that hold less ore than a mining ship :steamhappy:

I'll raise the storage significantly of those modules. Terran will be untouched because I think they're fine. Give me 10 minutes.

I tested every language and I haven't been able to find a problem with the encyclopedia. It's probably a problem related to a different mod.

I'm glad you like the mod! The Egosoft Discord's modding channels are super helpful. I'm sure they'd be able to help you convert the models. I don't think I can link it here but you should be able to find it via google.

Oh don’t get me wrong I like the idea and see why you’ve done it and I will definitely be using this mod, I’ve wanted to get into making some station modules myself but I can’t figure out how to convert model files into ones that can be used in Blender unfortunately, XRconverter doesn’t seem to work for me or maybe it’s just an outdated guide I’m looking at.

I was inspired to make this mod because of the new Terran wares that use solid or liquid wares at multiple stages of production. So far I haven't had any issues such as overflow from miners because stations automatically set a limit on the quantity of each ware they accept in order to always have space for the stuff they produce. It should flow correctly as long as traders are offloading the end product.

I didn't enable the trade station module because I wanted minimal impact to game balance. The modules were created using numbers taken from the existing modules slightly raised/lowered.

Yeh that was what I was thinking and it worries me slightly that it will cause an issue with the whole process but then again as something such as hull parts are made it uses up raw materials to produce less quantity wise so maybe it will be fine, I'm gonna try it anyway and see what happens, nice work though.

why not just make the tradestation multistorage modul buildable?

Ah yeah I know what you mean. When I first decided to make this mod I wanted the 3 storage pools to be divided. For example a L Universal would have 300k/300k/300k.

Unfortunately I discovered that it is impossible for a single station module to have multiple storage pools, so I went with one pool that can contain all 3 types. Better than nothing, I suppose!

I'm curious as to whether these storage modules have a separate part for each type of ware such as solid, liquid and container or are they all just part of the same pot so to speak? Like say you have a 12,000 capacity container is it treated all as one or does it specifically have 4000 for solid, 4000 for liquid and 4000 for containers?
