Fills a little slow... but at least it doesn't make a bunch of turns and you don't have to search for it a lot!

I tried to refuel but i was going a bit over the 170 knot point so after my refuel i landed on the wing of the plane and clipped the props, The jet went down in a spiraling mess

Well max speed in game for jets is around 500kmph so 100 knots is not too fast.

looking at your code, new to stormworks lua btw. I do not see where cruisespeed is used, is it used in another script or within the vehicle or how does it work?

Its a bug in current game version, Hotfix which fixes this is out now.

the refueling plane just despawns after like 60 seconds of flying and i need ad least 3 minutes to Aline my pane for refueling so i cant really do anything. :(

I could, but not much point now that devs are adding it to base game.
