I'm a noob. how do I play this?
Dr. Wendy 29 Nov, 2023 @ 10:17am
Great map! I had a fun time playing it! :))
Mafwingo 8 Nov, 2023 @ 7:06pm
and yes, I meant club, my mistake.
Mafwingo 8 Nov, 2023 @ 7:05pm
I know you can restart, but unfortunately if you do everything and save that for last its a bit annoying to have to start from scratch. Just a suggestion so people don't get stuck and have to redo everything.
Furdabip  [author] 8 Nov, 2023 @ 12:19pm
@Mafwingo
If you're talking about the Club trophy, it's designed so you can redo the mausoleum if you mess up. You should be able to redo it and grab the trophy again to place it better.
Mafwingo 8 Nov, 2023 @ 4:15am
Great job on this, only thing I'd say is the Jack trophy needs a slight fix cause if you place it too far over the edge by mistake when you're trying to get launched out of the room it's in you get stuck, would be as simple as adding another one of those geometric shapes on the wall to boost you instead. Love the design.

Nevermind, I cheated. Good game. 10/10

I need a walkthrough, I don't know any of this, I'm alone, I'm scared, I'm stuck on the first part o the red card room.

I LOOOOOVE this level. High attention to detail, interesting setting and creative choices. <3<3<3
Lumi Nation 13 Jan, 2023 @ 8:46am
Yeah, I'm on an old-ish laptop so I guess fps isn't its highest priority. I can't even run Minecraft 1.17
I did go into the editor and make a little toy block staircase but there were too many jumpy things
Furdabip  [author] 12 Jan, 2023 @ 4:06pm
@Lumi Nation

Unfortunately the physics are tied to the framerate of the game. It seems like on lower FPS, the jumps don't work, which sucks. It's not ideal, but you can pull the objects out, resize them a bit and jump on top of them to climb up higher.

You can also cheese the whole thing by making one of the other trophies big enough to climb up on top of the entrance overhang and then jump into one of the center windows to get the club trophy.
Lumi Nation 12 Jan, 2023 @ 9:53am
Great idea, but the jumpy things don't work, rendering it unplayable :'(

They make me jump up a bit but don't launch me to the top. Anyone got any good fixes?
I've got the graphics on the lowest and all other windows closed so I can't do anything more on the fps front
Slope-8849 12 Jan, 2023 @ 4:10am
great
Seven 21 Aug, 2022 @ 8:40am
Great level! The only issue I had was trying to get bounce pads (elevators?) to work. Turns out the height of your jump is tied to your frame rate for some reason. So if anyone else is having issues at this part like I did, try messing with the game's graphics and resolution, see if that helps. :HBHeart:

*now that i have played it i can comment*

This dream was super creepy and i liked the vibe. The poster with the "Wanted for eating my neighbors" was pretty funny. Overall a 10/10 with my only complaint being how confusing navigating the "Yeeting house" to get the clover lol

question, how do i play these? i have a couple sbscriptions but i am unsure how to play them

Disregard previous comment, overthinking as usual
scorpiosuzy 9 Jan, 2022 @ 1:59pm
Can someone explain how I make the ball thingy work? I've tried every combination of keys and all that happens is the ball sticks somewhere. I watched the walkthrough and still can't figure out where I'm going wrong
Templar 2 Nov, 2021 @ 5:21pm
well, to put it simply, i played without headphones. you nailed the atmosphere perfectly.

also I love how the Superliminal creators are written on the tomb stones.
Furdabip  [author] 5 Sep, 2021 @ 2:17pm
@SeaBass
Of course. All the objects I use are models taken from the game, free models found online, or stuff I made specifically for the level editor. Other people using them is always encouraged. :-)
SeaBass 5 Sep, 2021 @ 11:47am
@Furdabip Thank you for the explanations! I'll definitely take a look at the models to figure out your tricks ;) May I use some of those models for future maps? The bed in particular is something I've always wanted but could never find/make a good version of.

@SeaBass
I had issues with that too. The hitbox was all wrong and some parts were intangible. For this ground to work, I had to separate it into a 15x15 grid of 1m x 1m "cubes" with a thickness of 0.02m. The Convex Mesh import works fine if each "object" defined is on its own with its own, separate mesh in blender (or whatever else). It requires that most things be cubes, though, or at least have a "thickness" so the algorithm can define the edges when it's imported. It has issues with just a plane.

Ultimately I shaped the ground the way I wanted it as a plane, then sliced it into 225 separate meshes, gave each mesh a thickness, then it worked fine for importing. I recommend importing the ground file from the dream download into blender to see how it works. If you have the level downloaded, it should be located here;

Another amazing level as always! Your understanding of the game's mechanics and level structure knows no bounds. I'm curious as to how you got the complicated geometry such as building shell and ground to work. Whenever I've tried complicated geometry, even with the Mesh import setting, the hitbox is always WAY off.
León 3 Sep, 2021 @ 8:27am
I love the creativity of the puzzles. Definitely some ideas to be reused, well done!

Good job! I like the idea with the object launching in the Club building.

Marmo 27 Jun, 2021 @ 7:45pm
This level is absolutely incredible. I had no clue something like this could be done in the editor.
Mephi 20 Jun, 2021 @ 8:10pm
good seting the maze part was well made
the jumpin items where a bit dificult to understand
good level
vector_victor 20 Jun, 2021 @ 5:52pm
Pretty good if you don't mind losing some frames.

Note to the author: I dropped the spade before jumping out the window and that forced me to reset the level because there was no way* to get it. Not sure if this was your intention. I bet you didn't expect an idiot like me to do something like that!

*okay, i could have used some other objects to make a ladder to get back up but that would be way too intense. I used the spade to climb up to the top so I couldn't get back up. I'm pretty sure that was the only way to solve that part of the puzzle.
Furdabip  [author] 24 Apr, 2021 @ 1:08pm
Do you mean how to get the level to load in-game? Or how to complete it?

This is very impressive! The high level of detail and use of custom items meant that I made sure to noclip around to get a good look at everything after I finished. The jump pads are a clever use of an interaction between barriers and grabbable items that I didn't know existed, and was cool to see.
Furdabip  [author] 15 Apr, 2021 @ 10:48am
There are 12 secrets hidden in this level, so if all you found was the christmas tree, you got 11 to go. :-p

I dunno what would really be an insight. The editor is very limited and most of the exploitative stuff I do with it involves using a hex editor. I recommend playing through other people's levels to see how they use the mechanics, as I can't think of anything I know that other people don't.
Beauty 15 Apr, 2021 @ 9:29am
Excellent work! I found the decorated tree with the dog plushie.

I've been working on a museum dream that's really just a tutorial for creative uses of Superliminal assets and exploiting physics interactions. Using the barriers as jump pads is part of one of those exhibits. Since you seem to have an firm grasp on the inner workings of the editor, I'd appreciate any input or insights you have :)

Check out the credits of Superliminal and you should be able to figure out what the names are based on. ;-)

Nice!
Well made atmospheric level, i wounder if the name on the tomb stones have a story behind them or something
Furdabip  [author] 7 Apr, 2021 @ 7:16am
Thanks for letting me know, willyandme. I calibrated the launch pads to launch the player only just barely enough to get to the next floor, so they worked on my end before I uploaded. Unfortunately, a friend of mine also had issues with them not launching enough, so it's a weird case of it working for me but not other people. I've moved them up slightly now and hopefully they will work better for other people.

Let me know if they're working fine now or are still broken.
