You are playing on a map with bad lighting. Play on a map with proper lighting instead. Maps with proper lighting include maps from tf2, l4d, portal, and gmod fan favorites like rp_downtown. Avoid (bad) maps with bad lighting, which include most skiddie gmod maps, all of css, and some hl2 maps.
Strong highlights are characteristic of the IW engine and I have tried to replicate that authentic look on these models, at least as far as it can be reasonably done in source. It will look normal on maps with correct lighting. It will be ruined by maps with blown out lighting.

Thanks. I actually have a lot of work already completed on the bo2 playermodels, but they are on hiatus while I am doing other things. Maybe I'll be able to finish and release them sometime in the new year.
I wish I had a copypasta ready to go for these kind of comments. You can probably find my opinion on the cancerous remakes if you scroll enough. Anyways tl;dr they are perversions of the great games they defile and I have no interest in buying them.
As for being tired of makings pms, yes and no. For the time being I do not have much interest in that, but I know I will end up making more in the coming years. Probably blops 2.
