@Medic Daddy Every since I uploaded this addon intending it to be last set of the original 10, I've been mulling over doing two more bonus groups. #11 would include many of the miscellaneous characters not in 1-10, like the russian chemical weapons troopers. #12 would be all the civilians, since gmod and darkrp can always use more civilian models. Honestly I'd really like to do both of these, but the large time investment required keeps stopping me. It may happen eventually, though.

You are playing on a map with bad lighting. Play on a map with proper lighting instead. Maps with proper lighting include maps from tf2, l4d, portal, and gmod fan favorites like rp_downtown. Avoid (bad) maps with bad lighting, which include most skiddie gmod maps, all of css, and some hl2 maps.
Strong highlights are characteristic of the IW engine and I have tried to replicate that authentic look on these models, at least as far as it can be reasonably done in source. It will look normal on maps with correct lighting. It will be ruined by maps with blown out lighting.

@Nero Also if you are only using these models for animation, you really should just rip the models themselves. The models in this addon are conformed to the standard gmod ValveBiped skeleton, which degraded their deformation quality. You will get much better results if you animate the native models on their native skeletons. In fact this is actually what I did for creating all the sfm pictures on these workshop pages. I have special sfm versions of each player model that retain their original skeleton and a corresponding sfm rig script for posing them. If you want I can send you my sfm models for makarov and the rig script, if you are doing your animation in sfm.

@Nero Read the description. There are no face flexes, but there are face bones. The skinning may or may not have minor errors on some models. IW was a little lazy and archon might be a little buggy, and I did not clean up all the problem areas. Should be easy to do yourself if needed.

Thanks. I actually have a lot of work already completed on the bo2 playermodels, but they are on hiatus while I am doing other things. Maybe I'll be able to finish and release them sometime in the new year.

I wish I had a copypasta ready to go for these kind of comments. You can probably find my opinion on the cancerous remakes if you scroll enough. Anyways tl;dr they are perversions of the great games they defile and I have no interest in buying them.
As for being tired of makings pms, yes and no. For the time being I do not have much interest in that, but I know I will end up making more in the coming years. Probably blops 2.

@I Love garry mod Shepherd is not a main character in MW3. In fact, iirc, he does not exist in the game files.

@Bowl If by "cannot see" you mean they don't show up in the playermodel selector, then maybe gmod corrupted the addon file while downloading it (which can happen). Try unsub then resub. If by "cannot see" you mean the models are invisible, then something is very wrong with your gmod install or you have some (bad) addon installed that is screwing with other addons.

@Private_Ryan1 You are most likely playing on a (bad) map with a bad HDR setup. Flatgrass, construct, and the CSS maps are the most notable examples of that. The models in this addon have brighter rimlighting than the average Source model, which is part of the MW2/MW3 visual style. And, a lot of older Gmod/Source maps have overblown lightning, but you usually never see it because most Source models have rimlighting disabled.

These models have been working perfectly for me and I even use custom animations with them. Honestly zero problems with all the other custom weapon mods I have used. That might be just the weapon addons. Some weapon addons are not meant to be played in third person as well or seen by other players. I have played gmod for a long time Id be happy to share gun mods and other weapons I use that work perfectly with alot of player models. Id also like to thank the author for porting these :D

@ManiaSonic If I had a nickel for every rando with a weeb profile picture telling me my stuff is broken in weird grammar and esoteric vocabulary, I'd be rich. These models are compiled with the ValveBiped setup used in gmod's own kleiner playermodel. If you experience strange behavior with a shitty swep base, then the odds are 10 to 1 that your shitty swep base is causing the problem. In all my testing with both the engine weapons and with M9K, I have never seen the alleged issue occur. Reproduce the issue with the HL2 weapons and then you have a case.

Most of all your model ports have issues with a lot of custom weapons, they're not with arms, their worldmodels are flying outside

@TiberiumFusion just make a playermodel of what you think yuris wearing whilst in europe mission and then put yuirs head on the playermodel then put the viewmodels of yuri europe viewmodels simple but you can do it sometime you need to rest because you put so much hardwork into these playermodels so you need a break

@alexander I'm guessing you haven't played mw3. There is no Yuri Europe model. He is one of the first-person player characters and thus has no model whatsoever, since he is (almost) never seen in third person. The only exception is in the final mission when the pov switches to Price, and we see Yuri is a just a PMC body with a very slightly modified PMC head. Even in Persona Non Grata, if you try to look at Yuri with the UGV, you will see Kamarov from Cod 4.
