Could you make a mod that makes the blue MM highlighter a solid sharp color?

the blue blur is so anoying to deal with large MM radious in precise buildings.

@patman, hey, can i ask for a UI mod? this mod has the terraria grid and rule, but can you do a mod that is a grid for the size of the MM? like if you have a 2x2 radious MM it will show a 2x2 precise grid, im trying to build a giant farm in my world and i never know if my mouse is the precise location to brack tyhe blocks in the 6x6 MM.

Oddly there is no way to give steam awards to comments in mod strings as compared to everywhere else in steam.

the color can technically be changed but there's not a lua binding to do that. but you can manually edit your player file's `identity.color`
this will affect more than just the highlight though im pretty sure

Can't even change the color or anything then.

I'm really good at always finding the hard-coded things in games like this.

the blue highlight isnt an image , its just a light . you cant remove it

I was looking into having it off when the grid is on, or, switching the glow TO the grid instead.
I've dug through all the resource files but cant seem to find it anywhere.

un mod muy util para la construcion y edificacion pero seria mejor si se usa como si fuera uan cienta metrica holografica si un metro de medir pero digital que haga un holograma mientras nuestro personaje hace lo suyo sin que se cierre la imagen holografica de el metro nos seria mas facil construir mejor planificado todo

cuantes veces emos construido algo pero hay que volver a romper los bloques por que no quedo acorde a nuestro gusto personal o no quedo bien con la extroctura

este mod es util pero se cierra la cienta y no se queda de forma permanente donde la emos puesto si nos movemos la cienta no sigue es mucho mejor que la tecla con el click de el raton se posicione donde nosotros queramos igual que pegar una pegatina algo a si en una pared en forma de cuadricula de marco para poder calibrar la construcion de un edificio seria posible eso en su mod

I like how people are complaining about how the ruler isn't at a fixed point even though if you have larger builds you can just do simple addition to figure out lengths. It's main functionality is completely intact (measuring stuff from the player's position).

It's nice to have the possibility of being able to measure X and Y block, but why not make a keyboard shortcut to avoid spending your time re-clicking on your button rather than applying a key to do it?

its mostly just meant to be a recreation of the terraria ruler just because that sounded fun to make

I don't understand the purpose of this ruler. You can not fix a point so you can only take mesurements of what is on screen wich is almost never my intend. The ruler have to be switched with one of the active tech. No idea why, it's the first one I see needing this and the author just said "I does, fuck tour game" in the description....
Also fun to see how the author talk badly of the game and its players. Even go to calling names to people who comment. So I would say it's a bad ruler made by a ten years old who want to be "famous" 1/10
