That's actually why I got that. So lecherous bastards would stop literally fucking with my family and courtiers.
Imperator of Rome 26 Oct, 2020 @ 10:40am
But, it's a very convenient mod for "getting rid" of lecherous bastards.
Imperator of Rome 26 Oct, 2020 @ 10:39am
The only problem I have with it is prisoners getting released after being blinded or castrated despite having it checked not to.
scottytsr 25 Apr, 2020 @ 5:14am
I know this is a long shot, but anyway to have a revolt reducer when you castrate/blind peasant revolt leaders?
Fred 11 Nov, 2019 @ 8:38am
@Narrelama it should work, last time i played it (around september) it worked.
Narrelama 7 Jun, 2019 @ 12:45am
Does this mod still work? I don't have the option anymore.
Auxospore 2 May, 2019 @ 12:37pm
I have 9 cats. Soon to be 100. :kctease:
Fishball 27 Feb, 2018 @ 10:02pm
i subscribe to this mod for fun but now everybody is blind :/
ironstag 1 Feb, 2018 @ 7:38am
it'd be amazing if we could mass-blind or mass-eunuch prisoners. doing it 1 by 1 is tedious
royalhalberd116 6 Sep, 2017 @ 4:07pm
it requires legacy of rome
halcy 15 May, 2016 @ 3:30pm
No such decisions for me. :(
LOBO 10 Apr, 2016 @ 6:16am

I would like to know how to make it only available to us player as well. In my game, my dear loving liege blinded anyone who steps in his way...I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I doubt he can create the empire of francia with his -900 piety score. I doubt his successor will be any different in dealing with their enemies, like father like son and all that. So, now I have to somehow usurp the throne and create the empire myself. Or maybe wait to see if his son will be more merciful when he succeed his father. We'll see.
G.Strategos 22 Oct, 2015 @ 7:56pm
Is it possible to make it player only? what line of code I need to add?

Cheers
Falcon2000 14 Jul, 2015 @ 6:24pm
For those curious, it looks like this will work with the new DLC. Haven't done extensive testing, but the game launches and loads into an actual game ok, ran for a few years with no issues. Didn't have anyone imprisoned though to test the actual functionality.
Mentos 29 Apr, 2015 @ 2:32am
AI seems to blind/castrate nearly everyone they imprison. If it wasn't for the seduction focus creating hundreds of bastard children, over half the nobles in the world would either be blind or unable to reproduce. In any case, a feature that should have been in the game from the start without having to be Byzantines.
Scroop Dogg 24 Mar, 2015 @ 9:48pm
I like it, I blinded the shit out of my rival branch and now they're all "Oh noes, what ever will we do! I'm ruling and I cannot see!" But the jokes on e because it's actually my character now!

:(
Freelancepolice  [author] 24 Mar, 2015 @ 2:58pm
Yup, it's just for everyone's ease of use really. I wanted it in my game, so I made it for everyone. It's actually had a few iterations now and there's some balance to stop the AI using it so it's not just a line anymore.
BOT nic 24 Mar, 2015 @ 12:15am
if i knew how to upload to workshop i would have uploaded this first. seriously, all this is is deleting one line from a text file. gg.
Scroop Dogg 23 Mar, 2015 @ 1:20pm
Yeah, sorry didn't see it there, was looking in the wrong place. Thanks!
Freelancepolice  [author] 22 Mar, 2015 @ 3:11pm
Are you looking in the decisions list? When you have a prisoner it'll appear in there - you won't see it in the character interaction list.
Scroop Dogg 22 Mar, 2015 @ 1:07am
Seems broken for me, doesn't show the options in game
Grave 21 Feb, 2015 @ 3:34pm
How can I modify your files so that only rulers with the "Cruel" trait are given the option to castrate/blind prisoners?
Zakhad 19 Jan, 2015 @ 6:46pm
Yes, seems all is in order, thank you for your time :)
Freelancepolice  [author] 19 Jan, 2015 @ 5:32pm
Yeah seems to be working, just did a quick test. Make sure you clear out your mod folder just in case.
Freelancepolice  [author] 19 Jan, 2015 @ 5:23pm
Ok think I've now fixed it, was some weirdness with workshop and uploading files.
Zakhad 19 Jan, 2015 @ 4:23pm
Still there, unsub resub doesnt allow me to tick box, manually removed old version verified etc wont let me tick the new version.
Freelancepolice  [author] 19 Jan, 2015 @ 11:22am
Hey guys, I've fixed a couple of glaring errors. Can you check it works now?
prinzdeadniss 19 Jan, 2015 @ 10:13am
i have the same problem like Zakhad...

but at the past it was working...
Zakhad 18 Jan, 2015 @ 11:52am
Anyone else having problems downloading this? as i cant tick the box for it in the launch menu for mods, every other mod is fine, im using an old version atm, since i cant download new one.
Freelancepolice  [author] 16 Jan, 2015 @ 9:38am
I've reduced the chance the AI will do this based on feedback. If they have cruel and impaler trait they're more likely to do it.
Grave 27 Dec, 2014 @ 2:46pm
If possible, I'd like to see "blind" or "castrate" be available only to rulers who have the "Cruel" trait. And, maybe something new and special for those with the "Impaler" trait...
Sol 21 Nov, 2014 @ 12:00pm
Would be cool to make a CB where the demand is for a sum of Gold instead of a title.
Freelancepolice  [author] 20 Nov, 2014 @ 4:35am
That's a great idea! I'm actually working on an overal torture mod at the moment but that's a great feature that I'll consider adding.
Hatem 20 Nov, 2014 @ 4:15am
would be cool if after a prisoner is castrated or blinded their house gains a "revenge CB".
LegTheFish 15 Oct, 2014 @ 1:32am
Hey freelancepolice don't worry about it i read few things on forums managed to just edit the decisions file and it works.
noo..i dont wanna be a sandwich 14 Oct, 2014 @ 1:31pm
yea one should forget they had extremly cruel punischment back then ...lol
Freelancepolice  [author] 14 Oct, 2014 @ 9:46am
As for AI decision, I'll have a look into that.
Freelancepolice  [author] 14 Oct, 2014 @ 9:46am
Sure I'll try and find somewhere sensible to upload this to.
LegTheFish 13 Oct, 2014 @ 10:50am
Dude any chance you can upload this some where else. I really wanna blind and castrate people but workshop refuses to work for me
Doob 5 Oct, 2014 @ 7:16pm
Yup, NPCs tend to favor castracting and blinding
Erikon 4 Oct, 2014 @ 12:36pm
Will the npcs castrate my children if they are captured?
dazedlady 21 Sep, 2014 @ 4:19pm
Is there a way to tune down the AI's use of the decision? I was playing as the Norse, and they kind of blinded every prisoner they happened to get their hands on, including a 0 year old girl. O_o, it was massively disturbing.
Not Hans 19 Sep, 2014 @ 4:35am
The king and queen of England are both blind (nothing to do with me) xD
Ioannes_Rex 26 Aug, 2014 @ 9:02am
Nevermind, mate. I didn't see, that it requires Legacy of Rome. I haven't bought that DLC, yet. But thanks anyway.
Freelancepolice  [author] 25 Aug, 2014 @ 1:15pm
@reaver - yes it requires legacy of rome
Freelancepolice  [author] 25 Aug, 2014 @ 1:15pm
If you click subscribe it should be in your mod list. ianfroloff, try running just this mod and see if it works. If it does work then it's some sort of incompatability to another mod. I'll have to look into that.
Dr. Greenthumb 24 Aug, 2014 @ 5:28pm
How can i select this mod in my launcher? Tried to start the game, exit, restart. Nothing. Is there any option i have to set up in the .ini or such thing?
Ioannes_Rex 24 Aug, 2014 @ 1:53pm
Damascus Steel and Army Leader Dynamic Trait, Ocassionally I play GoT mod, as well.
