if I use the splinters (e.g. 2 way to 2 separate lanes) this seems to break the Main Connection between towns.
Any thoughts?

When I place a junction, cars slow down a lot and just choose one of the lanes, any way to make it smooth and they use both lanes? After the junction, cars go back to either one lane or the other. Thanks! Really like this mod!

Love this mod, thank you East Pavillion-er. Already spent many hours creating lots of complex junctions but... I think I've found an issue I've not seen mentioned previously.

If you create an elevated Urban Expressway Exit with an entry or exit ramp on only one side, the 'inward' section of the elevated highway without the ramp is created without a connection point. The 'outward' side is fine. Appears to be the same problem in both left and right configuration.

Am I missing something obvious as some parts do have a steep learning curve?

Lovely mod for good highway construction! One detail tho, I made a Parclo interchange which is working and being used (lines use it properly, so do cars). BUT several cities connected before (with the old roads), now mention that they are disconnected! Does anyone know why?

Does not work properly with left hand traffic. Entry and exit of the urban highway are still behaving in right hand traffic. Any ideas?

it adds modules, that can be placed like stations. Those modules allow you dto build highways nicely, eg. an offramp build with vanilla options always look horrendous since you can't split of at a small angle. Those modules also allow road connections you can't do without issues normally, like a four lane road that converts into two twolane onedirectional highways
There are also roads in the pack that match the modules and are a bit slimmer since they don't have sidewalks like the vanilla highways

@faulkner90 It's likely that you've turned the texture setting to the lowest. The game has different ways to deal with road texture and module texture, so it may look different. It's a limitation of the game and I can't do anything about it.

@East Pavilion-er why is the texture of these modules different to the roads. The modules look like the pictures however the roads pack are darker and smoother making the connections look out of place. Am I missing something? Using both TFMR 2.0 mods and trying to connect both highway modules and roads however all modules same texture. Thank you.

Disabled the initial roads in base_config.lua, but the cities still don't connect.

This mod is incredible! Makes the game a thousand times more enjoyable when it comes to large scale areas. Would be really cool to see potentially metal elevated roads for earlier periods (like NYC 1920's). Keep up the great work.

@lms The game will indeed create crossing traffic on intersections on bidirectional roads, and cars can and will make U-turns on any spot on bidirectional roads, which is quite unrealistic for urban expressways and motorways alike. Therefore, parallel one-way roads are the best solution for this game.

This mod seems to be mostly built around parallel roads, rather than bidirectional (except transitions from bidirectional to parallel). Is there a technical reason for this, like the game will insist on creating intersections (and therefore crossing traffic) if you put entry and exit ramps on both sides of a bidirectional road? Otherwise I'm really missing modules that allow for ramps and various combinations on bidirectional roads. Beyond that, fantastic mod and thanks a lot for your work on this!

@ManuDashOficial The speed limit of divergent direction is set by the game based on the radius of the road, and the curve is indeed very sharp. There is no way of making the modules compact without sacrificing speed of divergent direction. If you really need speed, try adjusting the length to 2x.

Why do the module "2 to 1" slows down the vehicles to 40km/h? that doesn't have much sense and it's annoying. Its even worse because i tried to go into the files of the modules looking for that one and i doesn't appear, every module has 70km/h limit or 120km/h.. i hope you see this and fix it, maybe 70km/h would be a really better number.

Does it work with a saved game? Mine keeps giving me collision alerts and i cant connect the mod intersections with my current vanilla roads

@Ikoda @AraxEthyr This is a problem of the old mod (TFMR1.0), and theoretically I have fully eliminated it in the newer mod (which is this one). You can demolish the problematic modules and replace with the new ones. Remember to unsubscribe to the old mod when replacing the modules.

I have seen the same issue as Ikoda. Those cars going the wrong way can cause terrible jams.
This mod has great potential, if you can get rid of those issues.

Some road time is missing like a 2 directional highway like a country road type with an exit on it.. Only highways with exits exists.. Can you please have 2 directional country type roads with exit on it?

东亭大神,求问一下,道路里面的node 1、2、3 甚至有4 snapping 都是什么意思并且如何使用的啊?我分别建出来但也没看出什么区别。然后我最近刚新建好一座四向立交,最基础的那种,里面最中间的直行两车道按理来说是长距离过境流量最多的,但刁民却全部走主城区感到再绕另一端的匝道上高速。不知道是不是就是选道的问题。文字说不清,如果方便的话可以留个邮箱我拿图或者视频向您咨询么~:steammocking:

For new users downloading the mod for the first time and seeing the instruction "remember to disable initial roads in base_config.lua", here is what you need to do (for the Steam release at least)...

Edit the file ".../Steam/Steamapps/Common/Transport Fever 2/res/config/base_config.lua" in NotePad (or similar). Search for "makeInitialStreets = true" and change it to "makeInitialStreets = false" then save the file.

Bug Report : When Configuring a module, the label for Settings - Slope - neg5% is incorrect. As you move the slider it displays "-10%, 5%, 0%, 5%, 10%" . As you can see, the minus 5% label is the same as the plus 5% label.
