I don't like this change. I can't select the special race traits. If you want to change that then could you please just make all technology available to every race?

I just downloaded the mod and in the race selection screen I don't see a single race from the modification, is this normal?
in race creation in the origin there is tauri, that is, the mod is installed.

Cannot see Tauri as a race to play. Can see their civic but that's about it

dont know if you mod isnt updated but atm (as stated in the description) only Tauri is playable

Is the update still in progress? When enabling it (without any other Stargate mod enabled) all I can see is Vanir, Asgard and Ancients races. Only Ancients are playable but needed civics to be added as they didn't have any by default....

@Pheonix , be carrefull with the mod stargate weapon , because he is not 100 % compatible with stargate reborn/contengency . example : if u play GOAULD , impossible to have the ascension perk "RISE of ANUBIS " conflict between the mods.

Sorry, but I can't find the link to get the old version 3.14. Today the mod was replaced in my playlist by version 4.0. Please help me. I would like to find version 3.14 stargate reborn

4.0 Version has been uploaded, but its a complete redesign of the old mod, currently only Tau'ri playable so if you want to play the old version I uploaded a Legacy version in the Workshop

Hey, I'm jusing only your mod but starting as the Tauri (saved and set to force spawn) as soon as I unpause the game I get blank events which spam every day at game start. Hopefully you can take a look!

Hey! I’ve been looking at ways to align more with the Stargate experience, so fewer but more expensive ships and much larger models (they all look so small and I’m not looking to also make planets bigger etc) - any idea how to implement this? I can double the ship costs and figure out how to reduce fleet and capacity limits (balancing station and platforms accordingly) but I’m at a loss on how to edit the ship model size without also changing planets?

its not meant to be compatible with other mods
so its try and error or make a patch for it

I just came back to this game after a 2-year break. I wanted to play some Stargate. I have spent the last 3 days trying to relearn and figure out why things were messed up from what I remember. I found that Ethics and Civics Classic (Megacorp Civc Update) removes the constructor tech from the race if you load it. So I have to stop using it. Then I noticed my game crashes out when trying to load a game if you use Starbase! 3.0. So I had to stop using that as well. I just wanted to know if you are aware of these issues. But it is nice to be able to play Stargate again :)

great mod ! Am I the only one who would like to have the ori as an option for custom late game crisis and not just a playable faction , we could maybe even have the ancient also reapparing after the ori invasion if the ori have taken a certain number of system

i meant golauld tech and wraith and ori stuff i have the stargate weapons arsenal mod wehere i get weapons stargate relatet and sound maybe fighters and the shields and the part BUT no stargate tech you have :D

the only way i see allowing for non vanilla planets to get stargates would be reworking it to be placed on planets with pops on them.
So basically 2 separate decisions because im quite fond of being able to place gates on habitable but unoccupied planets.
We will see how things work out, im planning on reworking a lot of the stargate related stuff

thats quite alot of extra mods to sgu and we dont support those mods so its kinda obvious you cant build stargates their because we would need to add all those new planets for the gates to spawn

Well, if it is of any help for future the planets I know for sure currently that cannot build a Stargate for me are from the following mods: DarkSpace, Planetary Diversity, Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features, Gigastructural Engineering or Warhammer 40k planets renewed (this is what I meant regarding non-vanilla, honestly it seems to be all of my modded worlds are unable to build a stargate. What is interesting though is that uncolonised modded worlds DO get the "Colonize Through Stargate" decision, just no decision to build a Stargate!

if a mod overwrites the planets it will not work anf is not compatible with sgu, im not sure if loadorder can fix this or you need a patch

Hey! I may have broken something with my modlist, but thought I'd reach out to see if this is standard - non-vanilla worlds seem unable to build a Stargate. Is that intentional, or do I need to look into my load order? :)

@Jh66772 you need to completely unsubscribe to the mod, uninstall stellaris & reinstall, it's happened to me when i swap mods occassionally.

as i said i tested with every race and it does not happen on my end
probably damaged files from basegame or mod so validate gamefiles, redownload mod etc.

I don't have any other mods activated.
I do have all the DLC except for the latest machine age one but I don't know if that is needed as I have synthetic dawn.
