It was hard, but I think I overthought about the last part solution.
2 : if you got that funnel hallway gimmick, last one would be easy
3 : go in - bounce off - go out
Painting the cube to launch itself into a funnel is impeccable. Haven't even seen that idea before. I also love the exit condition. The layout, although a little funky, is very readable to which I appreciate.
A smasher, faved!
Only took me 2 hours (may or may not have had a small nap near the start, lengthening it to around 3. Was very tired from sleep deprivation. I at the very least closed my eyes for a while). Not bad for a fresh Mevious map.
Having played BEN 77’s Underground series I’m actually a little disappointed I didn’t get the solution sooner. I tried some VERY off-the-wall things, but eventually realized “...there’s no way Mevious would intentionally write such a prone-to-failure step into his map on purpose”. I knew I was barking up the wrong tree. I then remembered the core mechanic in the first puzzle of that series as I stared at the ceiling of the starting area and what I had done below it… then it all came together.
Difficulty: 8.5/10
Enjoyed: 8/10
I was really stuck trying to find the final move. Standing in the entrance, the cube on the red button, my brain melting through my eras and then.... I found a really simple way using two portals over the angled pannel That is not the intended solution???

It was definitely one of the hardest fair chambers (and by that, I mean chambers that clearly show the puzze elements but are still hard to solve) that I've ever played!
I also wasn't too bothered by the backtracking, there was quite a lot of it but element reuse is something I love in puzzles.
The only nitpick I have is that it might have been a bit too deadly considering how long it takes to solve, espacially the jump from the catapult to the button area that sometimes flinged me into the red laser, but that's not a major problem.
That said, I had to break it to avenge myself, hope you enjoy this weird solution https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OX0XlrrtB5M :P
Would it be feasible to make the cube auto respawn? This way the player can save the portal exactly under the bounce drop on the ceiling without having to reshoot it :D
The repetitive backtrack was tedious. Fortunately, I caught on right away that I needed to pull myself back to the starting area and needed to do some momentum for the cube. When I tested the momentum, I knew it needed a "bounce" off the ceiling. So I got to that state in about 5 minutes, then spent a good 15 minutes attempting the final maneuver and kept missing the portal when I bounced off the ceiling. If I didn't carry the cube, I could do it by re-shooting the portal, but not once with the cube did it work. Everyone else seemed to effortlessly do it, so not sure why it didn't work for me.
Still though, a great concept and a wonderful reuse of the blue gel and funnel.

@Miami Mike Not sure if you figured it out or of anyone else is curious: The dripping water is only there to prevent blue gel from staying on the panel if you manage to paint it like asears16 .
Placed the gel on the ground instead the ceiling. Let the box bounce on the gel once and then kept it in a back and forth loop between the portals. Walked to area where you crossed the water with the funnel earlier, placed a portal up on the wall which launched the box out of the loop and caught it.
After checking other players solution, mine is kinda similar to "lapicidas" but after you already moved the surface farther away. But you've to nearly do all the same necessary steps first to get the gel there. Maybe moving the surface even farther away would prevent this (a little inconsistent) solution.
