Randomized Gatecrasher Loadouts For LWOTC

Rookies cannot use sniper rifles, so this is probably the reason why they spawn without weapons. Try reverting that change or disable hunter rifle loadouts and see if it helps.

I'm having an issue where some soldiers will roll without a weapon for the mission (sometimes up to three soldiers). I have edited out any line that would not be applicable, such as a mod I don't use. The only thing I could think of is that I have used WSR to change the Hunter rifle to the "sniper rifle" category, as I never see hunter rifles rolled anymore. Does this make any sense?

Fair enough on #2. Hardly a game breaking bug, after all. God forbid the rookies guns not be the correct color for 1 mission!

Just a couple of notes that I encountered starting up a campaign on dev build 26:

1: Templars spawn in without shields (which in retrospect seems obvious given that the mod was made for dev build 25).

2: Bit of a niche issue here, but I noticed that the default color for weapons was overriden from what I had changed it to in the XcomContent.ini in the highlander folder. Not entirely sure why this happened, as digging around in the config files didn't yield anything that looked like it should have changed weapon color, but it only occurred on gatecrasher with this mod installed (I started gatecrasher 2 separate times and this occurred both times).

You are correct. The Rookies do have 3, I didn't count the plating. In my hasty comment. The mod gives a chance to bring some smoke grenades and/or med kits to Gatecrasher. Might give it another go.

@Stafford I consulted with folks on the LWOTC Discord and their Rookies spawned with 3 utility items each. I also tested this mod with my own 200+ mod list before I released it. So most likely there's some kind of mod conflict going on with your setup.

Regarding the SMG bit, I mention in the description that which loadout is picked is fully random; the best way to make a particular piece of gear less common is to comment out some of the lines in XComGatecrasherLoadouts.ini that contain that particular item.

Rookies still have only two loadout items. Half my soldiers have SMG. All-in-all, a complete disaster.
