Updated to 4.0 - though I don't currently own the last few DLCs so if there's any missing dialogue lines, please let me know!

Minor update, switched it over to 3.12 (though once again it worked anyway). Also made the error log stop complaining about the frequency on a few of the files, and reduced the sizes on disk across the board. As always, let me know if a vanilla sound creeps through anywhere!

Nope, sorry. All I can suggest is reverse-engineering someone else's to see how it works and then making one yourself, that was how I made this one. Though obviously make sure you reverse-engineer one that works consistently :P

Has now been updated to 3.10 and the bug where it randomly goes silent should now be fixed! Let me know if it breaks again.

Good news! I believe I've worked out what's causing it, and it's a pretty easy fix. I'll do some testing to make sure there's nothing else triggering the issue but a fix should be up soon.

No problem, thanks for checking it out anyways. Simply saving & reloading your game fixes it, takes less than 30 secs so I can cope :)

Yeah, I did a test game of my own recently and found that mine ended up dropping out after a while as well, while the person I was playing with who didn't have an advisor mod on still worked fine. I have absolutely no idea why since functionally it should just be swapping out the files played by events being triggered. I have a feeling it could be running into a sound that doesn't exist and breaking, but I'm not sure. I'll have to test to see if it happens with other Advisor mods too before looking too deeply.

I have removed the Dalek adviser voice mod from my playlist & the bug did not occur.

I am also playing a SP game also with the Dalek voice adviser mod enabled, and the bug still happens, after say, 25-30 mins, all adviser voice stops working. but saving & reloading my save fixes the issue so that's a nice work around

Even if I keep the game paused the adviser voices do disappear

That's strange. Would you mind removing just the Dalek Advisor mod from your playset next time you play and seeing if the issue still occurs?

It normally stops after a set amount of time in game, I'd say after 20-30 mins the mod & vanilla voices just stop.

And it happens when I am playing an MP game with another player, after mine has stopped his still works, (he plays with another adviser voice mod)

If vanilla ones are affected too, then it sounds more like an issue with vanilla than with the mod. I've done a couple of playthroughs with this enabled over the last few days and haven't run into that issue, so please let me know if you can work out what's causing it. When does it stop?

I have an issue, in game, the adviser mod works fine, but after X amount of time, the adviser voice just stops, total silence, and when I switch my adviser to any vanilla one it doesn't fix the issue, all those advisers are also silent, only restarting my game fixes the issue, but the voices do disappear after a while again without fail

I have a suggestion for a war declaration dialogue line. The scrap Dalek threatens a group of soldiers with the line; "Surrender.... Allocated surrender period has expired, consequence extermination!!"

Did you make sure to select it as your advisor? You should be able to select it during empire creation, or in-game through one of the government tabs iirc. There's a possibility you need one of the DLCs to be able to select a different advisor, though I'm not certain.

Still doesn't work, I even checked my game files.. What lines does this mod cover? cause "Research complete" and "construction complete" doesn't work.
