at what rpm does the horsepower peak?, max rpm?
how would I view and edit these files? any particular program you would suggest?
Also I hope you didn't mind me doing a video review for the Detroit Diesel 60 series that you created? its like a 20 min vid... I'll upload it when I get a chance... :)
As a side note on realism, you can obviously play however you want.... but I've never seen 13 speed and heavy haul together. heavy hauls are spec'd for that, so many gears and high number final drives...3.73 minimum .... going up to 5.11 isn't unheard of. like I said play how you want, but I want my engines to be realistic.
and how would I get there in the files explorer?
500 hp (373kW)
1,850 lb-ft (2508Nm) at
1,200 rpm
600 hp (447kW)
2,050 lb-ft (2779Nm) at
1,200 rpm
Reason why the rpm max is 1,200 rpm / 20 rps is because I have a Eaton 13 speed on all of my trucks with a diff set to 3.55 with retarder...
Otherwise I do agree that they do sound nice! :)
This is probably some of the best engines I've ever heard but theres only one thing this pack is missing... atleast some heavy haul specs would be nice but otherwise this isn't a bad mod :)
I like the 855, seems to suit the FLB and the jake sounds awesome, might be the best one I've heard.
