Just a heads up that the base scope in ai_weights is no longer country (but you can get to the country by scoping to the owner.

Yes, this mod does still need to be updated to 3.6; I've almost finished updating it but still need to test to make sure I haven't messed anything up in so doing.

I'm not sure if it's this mod, but it's the most recently I've activated, but I've noticed every empire is the opposite government that it should be. Egalitarians are all various dictatorships, and fanatic authoritarians are direct democracy and so on. Could this have done that?

Launcher doesn't allow me to activate this mod and says that it's missing a descriptor file. Since it seems to work for pretty much everyone else as far as I can see from the comments, I think it's probably something wrong with my game. Already verified files, but that did not help. Any other ideas?

Well, I just tested it again and vanilla races are all there for me. Possibly it interacts badly with another mod you're using?

This appears to break some vanilla races. With this mod installed I only get about 10 starting races, uninstall and they come back.

Playing around some more it seems like a modify_species block can only remove one trait from the species and it will be the last one listed. It can also add one trait and it will again be the last one listed.

Or at least that's how my game behaves on my computer.

The obvious, if somewhat clunky, solution is to use two modify_species blocks.

For some bizarre reason the mod is failing to remove Adaptive and Strong whenever I upgrade them to Extremely Adaptive or Very Strong, so that my new species ends up having both the basic and upgraded trait.

The strangest thing is that the temporary upgrade trait is successfully replaced with the base game trait (so it will remove trait_extremely_adaptive_upgrade and add trait_extremely_adaptive). The upgrade event is clearly triggering, it's just the line that removes Adaptive/Strong that somehow isn't working.

@Peter34: the AI will probably very rarely add traits from the Xenology mod since it will usually have a boosted priority for at least several vanilla traits and will never have a boosted priority for Xenology traits. That will be the only regard in which there are compatibility issues, however.

Interesting, but I’m concerned about interaction with the Xenology mod.
