you still have this file under "set_unit_skins"
"set_skin_chinese_male_06.variantmeshdefinition" which is an open definition.
I removed it and the crashes stopped. Might be something else, but worked for me
I am also a noob modder and have been working on a mod based on yours. I was wondering if I can PM you to start a conversation where we might be able to help each other? LMK
1. balance. they may not want an elite powerful unit that can threaten and charge better than hidden axes, but with heavier armor and slightly stronger melee capabilities while also having more ammo.
OR
2. Different roles. they may have wanted one to be lighter and more stealthy but less capable if engaged or shot at. And the other to be more armored, slower, and stronger. Like an elite bandit enforcer.
so the question is, do you want snipe on that unit (which makes them game breakingly powerful) to just replace hidden axes for good once you get your income going.... or would you rather i upload this super cool mod i been working on all day with a new stealthy elite Assassin warrior ladies unit for the bandits?
