I'm already running into some tricky things. I see now why asteroid arty/maginot/etc were removed. Their fighters basically break combat. So for now I'm removing their fighters in place of S/M/P slots.
And shout out to the work you, and the other mod authors, have done so far. I can't imagine how many times you sat there waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for the game to load to check your scaling changes!
Keep it up :)
I'm trying to bring in updates from Gigastructures that haven't been incorporated to this mod and reintroduce plantcraft/maginot/asteroid arty.
I LOVE Maginot worlds so this is important to me.
It's a work in progress, and it's based on this mod, so thank you very much TheCreepOfWar!

Running EndeavourOS and get a crash on startup
I'm running Arch as my main distro, i'll take a look at it next time I play.
No, this mod doesn't affect that at all. Real Space - Ship Scaling is it's own thing, and most mods don't support it, as the game mechanics it adds are rather niche. You might try asking on the Gigastructural discord to see if anyone has patched Giga and Ship Scaling together.
Any ETA? 3.6 comes out tomorrow, So i know it won't be this week.
not nearly as much of a problem, but still worthy of note
@The Sun
It should be baked in, but I'm not sure, idk what's been changed in that regard since 3.3.
My load order is also correct, like 95% of all the mega structures are broken the sizes are all wrong with giga. The Author is obviously not updating this anymore.
If someone else could update this, that would be great.
all I know is that I've got one disk that's floating, and two that aren't
my brain wants to think that maybe its something with the building of the gaia slice that places it higher than its supposed to be, and terraforming doesn't move it, but I don't actually know anything
I have found something that seems broken, though--Orbital Arcologies. The mesh seems to be missing, possibly Gigastructures changed the path?
and if i use your older patch, atlest stellar accelerator scales fine
Im okey with big dyson sphere if star it build aroun is small, but if its big then DS is insde it.
Load order is exactly as you said in description, with one difference, after the giga / SS patch comes the rest of the RS mods
Sorry.
Thank you! I was actually using the Birch World Origin as a test to see if the patch was working or not. When I saw the lights not in place, I assumed the worst. Actually sat down for my session today and booted up a Alderson Disk Origin and it was working just right. Tried a Great Ring Origin and it too was in working order. If something else is out of place, that's fine, because that gives me some some lengthy playthroughs to work with. Thanks again for the reply!
I'm sure there's probably *something* that's messed up, but the patch still seems very usable to me.
