Would love that as a monster class ^^
Also this is awesome :P SUBBED!
even if this old class this is still fun class
Having only two damaging attacks is a bit of a shame, as is the inability to do any major debuffing.
Not sure what I'd suggest be done. It's still a fun, cool custom class. Just maybe not as exciting as I'd hope.
do you have any plans
At the end of the day its just one mans opinion, but i can say that ive tested 100+ classes, and rarely they feel as awkward to build around and to play with. He might be a champion-mob killer and boss melter on paper, but he feels underwhelming against common 1 tile enemies.
Not gonna lie, i havent played with him much, and i might be mistaken about his balance, because it happened literally first dungeon.
About balance - 18 damage to a friendly unit is almost like a treesmack from the giant. and he also requires marks to be effective. Building party around him is awkward, because you need two healers, some beefy guy he can bite, and markers simultaneously.
Plus according to the lore he prefered rancid food, why not make him eat corpses?
I am currently looking into the issue of what is going on. Bear in mind that if you are using other mods, there may be potential compatibility issues regarding the Viscount class that I was not aware of.
I sincerely apologize if this inconvenience has screwed over one of your runs.
alright i did that and i gotten him and I have to say with all due respect, holy shit dude this guy is fun. He's probs my second favorite out of the crimson court stuff you did, with the Esquire being the absolute fav. I cannot wait to see what else you gonna do. I hope we get to have the servant dude as his own, that be like swell
I think he is about maa rarity. But, if you want to force him to spawn, head to viscount.info in the mod file, go to the last line, and you'll see '.number_of_cards_in_deck 6 .card_chance 1.0'. Change the 6 to 60 and 1.0 to like, 500.0 or whatever high number you want and he'll show up.
Funny you should mention that...
The class itself is fascinating--your work is truly amazing!
P.S .: I would very much like the courtesan to enrich your collection.
P.D.: The Esquire FTW
Fixed the Viscount and his fear of needles. He should now be able to visit the sanitarium without stress!
Regarding the abilities I would appreciate for example if the heal debuff from square meal or ravenous feast would last only 2 turns as it can be pretty hard to outheal the damage in some situations at high level. Also i would change "Cleanse palate" to thirst as it seems that the viscount doesn't get heal from the previously mentioned abilities. In this instance you have the occasion to change the sprite of the manservant as well :D Would like also the served rare to push back enemies. Other than this mod is perfect, but as i said the ideea of the viscount is all about eating but for some reason he doesn't get any heal? Also pls make him go in the sanitarium just like the baronXD
For your next mod I would say I like the idea of Courtesan's cool shuffle and buff/debuff effects a lot!
(And I hope there is a Countess mod someday... ^_~)
