What software did you use to make this?

They should be under what their vanilla counterparts are.

None of the two lane roads show for me. Are you using a mass transit road as a base for those?

Really love this series. Any chance of 2+1 and/or 3+2 asymmetrical roads?

I like this a lot! In the future I would like to see some 5 lane roads, (two lanes in each direction, and a center lane). Maybe some 7 laners if possible.

Thank you. Beautiful :-)

@Alomar82 funny thing is that Iowa fields are just as rocky! ;) So its pretty accurate! I got to spend many of days as a kid picking rocks out of fields for the old man!

I noticed you have rock sprites in your farm road screenshot (in the fields). not sure which mod is doing this and it's definitely a recent mod , but every time i load a save, I have to open theme mixer and tick and then untick show rock sprites for them to go away. Sorry its completely unrelated to your original post OP. just an observation :) As for the roads. I kinda like them and the faded textures are a nice touch :)

@Bonovision nope not him. I havent reached out to Clus yet.

@Postal... I hope he wasn't the creator you mentioned who didn't communicate with you. =(

@Bonovision, I see what you're talking about! one issue with making roads with a texture such as expansion joints is that obviously the texture is different from other packs. Since there are lines it is more noticeable. I used road color changer to kind of alleviate that as lighter looking roads have less noticeable lines. Its also partially my fault since I used the vanilla shaders for the nodes. I used the vanilla road color so they would match other roads as much as possible but the texture doesnt help. The only way to kind of fix this is to have plane nodes but that looked goofy too. Believe me I tried it. Honestly Im hoping someone who is better than me (Clus) cough cough* can make more roads. I really liked his and they were kind of my inspiration.

@Postal, sorry to hear on the lack of communication. To clarify my point, I meant it strictly from a visual perspective (I think?) namely: Connecting two roads from separate packs would cause that ugly triangle of differing colors on the node itself.
Postal  [author] 20 Apr, 2021 @ 5:20am
As far as node connections use procedural markings and node controller. That's what I usually do. The only roads I find dont intersect well are parking lot roads and they dont go well with most roads.

Bonovision. I tried reaching out to one big road creator about retexturing one of their roads and he hasn't been very responsive.

Boformer. They're all updated in this pack. I wanted to combine them all into one download for the sake of simplicity. Plus the last time I updated just a single road it ended up messing up the test save file so I dont want to ruin others saves.

Can't wait to check these out. Was wondering if there were any plans to collab with other "American" road asset makers? While I love so many different styles I often am sad that they don't "integrate" well with each other on node connections, forcing me to choose between them.

Good stuff! Have you considered updating the old roads?
