I have no idea how I made it work, but it did. Beautiful map and great Hammer work!

Interesting Puzzle
RainbowGirlMia 3 Mar, 2023 @ 1:16pm
This was so cool! I really want more chambers like this
E_ 29 Jan, 2023 @ 3:36pm
that's the coolest mechanic I've ever seen.
GSC 4 May, 2022 @ 1:11pm
I got through it but I still don't understand how it works, lol. Interesting concept but it wasn't taught well.
AGENT-427 26 Apr, 2022 @ 10:44am
Little confusing at the start but quite fun, I really like the transition areas
Warkin Iskander Volselli 7 Apr, 2022 @ 7:54am
Great concept and execution though, wouldn't mind more of it
Warkin Iskander Volselli 7 Apr, 2022 @ 7:51am
This makes my head spin
TrustyGun 15 Dec, 2021 @ 6:18am
This is a pretty cool concept, but I found myself getting confused on which buttons activated which element in each state. I think if you changed the colors of the antlines this would be more clear. (Maybe to the co-op portal colors?)

Other than that small gripe, this is a pretty good map!
SunnyOst 30 Nov, 2021 @ 11:49am
Great concept! Would love to see more of this! :cleancake:
Also, the door in the first room still only opens in one light. I'm not sure if that's intended or if this is what you tried to fix(in the description), but I'm not sure why you'd want it to behave in the current way...
Portalized 5 Sep, 2021 @ 9:05pm
I am not sure I cared for this concept - what is the point of it and what does it have to do with Portal? Sorry just my opinion. Obviously other people did like it. Thanks.

Textures reflexions missing.
Time_the_Creator 9 Aug, 2021 @ 7:28am
I wanna more! Great map! :)

I love the Design of this map, concept great too

Great concept. Check out my solution!

Honestly I do not like this concept because it doesn't make sense. I mean yes, it is logical from a code-executing perspective, but it doesn't feel right to use floor buttons as logic triggers rather than physical switches. It doesn't "feel" right.
LaChicaDeAperture 26 Jun, 2021 @ 1:59am
no estoy segura cómo superé este mapa ._. pero lo hice lol es muy creativo :)
looba dee 27 May, 2021 @ 3:27pm
SO GOOD I love the puzzle idea! You should make more
󠀡 17 May, 2021 @ 8:31am
The atmosphere of the blacklights combined with the ambient music was top notch, a very interesting concept map. Way too short :2019love:
Tenai 14 May, 2021 @ 6:33pm
Amazing, I only wish it was longer
Demon Arisen 10 May, 2021 @ 8:39am
Fantastic aesthetics and atmosphere, and a neat gameplay concept, though perhaps not as intuitively taught as it could be. Lots of potential for expansion here though, nice work! :)
uwaga pyro #5 8 May, 2021 @ 1:23pm
Loads of fun, the aesthetics are great too.
Some texture problem with prop and doors tho, didn't packed correctly
totes amaze balls 7 May, 2021 @ 9:09am
Very interesting concept, while I did grasp it I do feel it could have been presented a bit better. Aesthetics and lighting were also very cool and good, I enjoyed. I hope to perhaps see more of this one day. :)
samfizz 7 May, 2021 @ 1:46am
I saw you mentioned in another comment you'd be willing to make the toggle lever a BEE package, and I'd just like to second that I would love to be able to use it :)
samfizz 7 May, 2021 @ 1:41am
So cool, oh my god. I got stuck on the second room for a bit because I wasn't fully understanding the mechanic like how you can make the buttons stay down , but when I got it I was so satisfied. Visuals were relatively simple but super fresh and stylish, I love how the map looked. The music worked well too, made for a nice atmosphere overall. The pedestal toggle levers were neat too! Looked nice and were intuitive.

This map is pretty perfect actually, my only complaint is the short length. So much potential here (especially if we had a portal gun to play with) and I would love to see more in this style. :p2cube:
Tkain 6 May, 2021 @ 9:28pm
Looks suuuuper cool! I only wish it went on for longer - I think you could do some fun stuff with these mechanics.
Nobody No-One 6 May, 2021 @ 8:28pm
Very interesting concept, though I felt the mechanic in the second room could've been better presented. Thumbs up.
LabPlay 2 May, 2021 @ 10:57am
You are an absolute genious! How you made the mechanics and figured this idea out, I have no idea. Hats off
Sejievan 1 May, 2021 @ 8:38am
Well done, the mechanics took a bit to understand but it was fun nonehteless, there is a potential mappack series or mod here, the visuals too where really nice.
nemo_annonymous 25 Apr, 2021 @ 5:05pm
re 2nd room - pay very close attention to how the buttons behave. It is a really good mechanic, but maybe it could be demonstrated a little better somehow before the "real" test.

Buttons only trigger their effect when they are pushed, and only for that world, and they can only be pushed if they are nor already pushed in the other world.
Vanilla ✿ 24 Apr, 2021 @ 2:05pm
This so cool, the aesthetics are amazing and the mechanic very fresh and interesting, please do more!
Xzero400 23 Apr, 2021 @ 10:36am
Good Map!!!!:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:
ribbit_and_boing 22 Apr, 2021 @ 9:06pm
Such a cool mechanic, I would love to see more of this.
Narkodes 21 Apr, 2021 @ 5:07pm
I think that the button doesn't look 100% right for original clean style, because its base looks so different and is a bit too big, but the main part of it would work fine. I look forward to it :-P

Oh, I didn't know. Thanks for that console command, I'll keep it in mind.
Baguettery  [author] 21 Apr, 2021 @ 5:03pm
Hey! Only one other person has had that issue as far as I know. If I remember correctly, you can run `mat_reloadallmaterials` to fix it.

The switch is all custom, but I'd be happy to implement it as a package for BEE.
Narkodes 21 Apr, 2021 @ 5:01pm
Nice proof of concept. Unfortunately, I had missing textures on all reflective materials such as the floor and the doors. Because of that, it looked terrible when playing. I saw the typical pink textures instead. In your video it looks fine ofc.

Btw., is that toggle button or a variant of it implemented in your BEE package? It looks great and makes clear that it is a toggle.
Montydog9 21 Apr, 2021 @ 5:18am
its not broken, the solution just isn't very obvious, which isn't a bad thing since there isn't really enough hard puzzles on the p2 workshop, nice to have a bit of fresh air
pillsburyandregret 20 Apr, 2021 @ 10:45pm
this is such a cool concept, but I think the second room is broken for me? there is only one cube in each light, but both buttons can only be pressed in regular lighting. I cant get past
raspberry 20 Apr, 2021 @ 7:51pm
Overall really cool map. I think there could be more detail and/or more interesting stuff in the areas between the tests, especially the area before the last test with the computers and desks. I think with this style i think it would've been really cool for the non-test areas to have been larger.
beepster 20 Apr, 2021 @ 5:21pm
very good map
totes amaze balls 20 Apr, 2021 @ 3:35pm
Extremely cool and clever mechanic. I also enjoyed the style, overall super well done :)
