I've tested it for a while. After installing it, I haven't had any more Criminal syndicates. So I think it works.

every 10 years they try again, and every 10 years I kick their ass, and they STILL DON'T GIVE UP. had to install this mod after the 3rd war loss due to "attrition". war score mod is next

It still might appear in empires if they already have it pre-defined as one of their civics, but I made it so that it will always be inactive so it shouldn't actually cause any issues.

Endershadow The only mod I was thinking that could cause it would be gigastructural engineering but I don't know. everything else I run is all UI overhaul Either way thank you for looking, It's the first time one has ever appeared since i started using it. in the 3 games i have played with it.

Either way, I just updated it so that it shouldn't be an issue anymore. Any empire that somehow manages to get the civic should have it disabled now.

Endershadow, Mitron syndicate is the name I only noticed them when they started dropping branch offices all over. of course I do have psi corps so crime is not crippling just annoying :)

Just a heads up to the Author. I have been playing with this in 3.0 and it seems to work great in the start of the game, However I had a really weird thing happen, There criminal Heritage does not exist when I make an empire, even for me but later in the game, there was a new empire formed as a result of either a war or a primitive species advancing to FTL age via uplifting or something (honestly not sure which it was) and now there is a criminal syndicate in the game. It is the first time this has ever happened to me with this mod but I thought I would give you and everyone else a heads up, it seems to be a bug. As I said otherwise the mod works a treat for me as I cant even choose Criminal syndicate in the start of the game as it should be :)
