I had a look at the resource pack's files as well as the default terraria files, as far as I can tell it looks like all ur gonna have to do to fix this is copy Content/Images/NPC_107.png into the Content/Images/TownNPCs folder and rename it to "GoblinTinkerer_Default.png"
If you're struggling to find the original files, you should be able to find the files for this pack in steamapps/workshop/content/105600/2463649580, assuming that the pack creator's files still show up in the workshop subscription folder

Okay, I'm not sure if you ever plan on updating this, but I want to make you aware that the Witch NPC mod still works despite the spritesheets changes. Now, I'm not a modder myself, so I don't know how difficult it would be to take some notes from the Witch mod and apply to this one to fix it, but just food for thought. Great mod, though!

yes, I'm aware. 1.4.4 changed the NPC spritesheets iirc, which broke both this and the witch resource pack that I made. Unfortunately, I'm a busy gal, and there's no telling when I'll be able to update these to work again. Sorry! I do want to get around to it as soon as I can.

If I understood correctly, do I have to kill the current NPC for a new one to move in with the skin already changed?
If I load the icon in the section to choose NPC to live in X house, but the NPC as such does not.

I'm going to try doing that.

shimmer is why it broke, mostly works in modded terraria EXCEPT FOR THE DIALOGUE FOR SOME REASON AAAA

I seem to be having the same issue as Toxic. The minimap icon, dialogue and name change, but the sprite does not

it would have been nice if you would have done this to the mechanic instead LOL
