@007Fighter this strongly sounds like a conflicting addon/mod.

@TheHatMan1965 if you have access to the .lua files, you can just outcomment the sections where it activates the overlays. For example in hevi_shieldmode.lua, just outcomment line 100 "render.ModelMaterialOverride(shieldGrid)"...the shield grid texture property is defined at the beginning of the file(don't outcomment that one, or you'd crash the game).
