For anyone wondering of asking for a change...I made a version myself, im not good at modding and etc but i fixed the bug it shoots undeneath the submarine, sadly i had to remove the flaks from underneath and changed them for normal flaks, BUT its more operational, abit more resistant and it still have same ammo and stuffs from Original, so lets call it an updated version of the same

SO GO TO MY WORKSHOP.

could i use some components like the torpedos the 88mm guns and the battterys in my own sub (figured i should ask first) and yes I will be putting the mod names along with its creator in the mod list

Hello friends! Anyone else have issues with lag when using this mod?
Loves the profile of this submarine, but the lag reaches a point that makes the game impossible.

Please disable all other mods, verify the issue and report back to me. It wouldn't be the first time someone had an issue with this mod that doesn't appear on my end. I'm committed to solving these game breaking problems.

strange cause i couldnt find it.. ill try again another time. Its difficult to find anyone to play with though.. had a server up for like legit 5 hours and just one guy joined and then left 10 minutes later...

I just checked the fabricator on the veteran version. It's called "Biodiesel" and "Incendium Diesel". I recommend the latter when possible as it burns much longer.

tried to find the diesel in the fabricator but i didnt find it, maybe the veteran version of the sub is bugged?

T1 submarine has only a few upgrades

For example, the hull level can only be upgraded to level 2

By default, the game will determine the level of each submarine based on the price

In addition, if possible, can we add a small gene identifier in the medical room?

I haven't played in so long I don't even know what a T1 submarine is lol. When I get some more free time I'll pick the game back up and modernize the mod. Your the first person who's mentioned this issue and I really appreciate the feedback. Definitely at the top of the list of things I need to fix.

Can you add a T3 submarine?

The limited upgrade of T1 submarine seems to make it impossible for her to pass the customs.

You can grind out your beginner crew on the u-3506 but you gotta babysit them. They're going to screw up a lot and hurt themselves. One option is to manually control the electrical guy to repair the batteries but stop before the battery runs out of HP. Then limp it back to base and use the shipyard to fix it with money.

ah gotcha, thank you very much. Didnt even notice a command room console, as for crew skill damn, guess i might have to use a different sub to start the campaign which kinda sucks cause this vessel is so cool. But the AI will always manage to blow themselves up or randomly run through the fire lol.

The batteries wear and tear over time as all subs batteries do. What makes these unique is that they require a very high skill to repair. If the repair is botched too many times, the batteries will erupt in flames. On one hand, the sub is very dangerous to operate with an amateur crew. On the other, the crew gains a lot of experience from repairs.

As for the alarms, make sure you check one of the 3 consoles located in the command room, engine room and battery rooms. They give a live readout of the status of most components on the sub. Should give you some clues on what you're low on but most often it's compressed air which will recharge automatically with the engine running.

is this sub supposed to have faulty batteries? They consistently become damaged and the AI constantly cause them to erupt in flames while repairing them... I'm not very experienced at this game so i may very easily be missing something.

They're automatic. They run off motion detectors. Upgrading supercapacitor capacity and reducing power consumption of the discharge coils makes them highly effective.

Hey man picked up on a small bug. The NPCs get a little confused when trying to repair the ballast tank overflow valves (the vertical doors set in the bulkheads) that separate the tanks. I suspect because they can't quite reach them.

Setting them to indestructible seems to have fixed it for me.

The smaller targets should be getting stunned by touching the electrified hull. Enough time to line up a shot.

The guns are hard to use intentionally to simulate the huge caliber. But with enough gunner skill and upgrading the super capacitors (1st) then the gun reload rate (2nd) it is extremely easy to obliterate targets at incredibly long range.

The subs flooding control is actually more resilient than any other sub I've tried. But even if it gets overwhelmed, you can patch the holes and use 'blow ballast' from the nav terminal to rapidly flush the water out of the ballasts.

Also, another tip. Run in silent running mode. The diesel will explode if it's running while the compartment floods!

I love the design, however, these turrets can't even kill most small targets, once the torpedo room is breached and the whole sub sinks deep into the ocean and becomes an immovable live target for those creatures, I don't know if it's because I suck or what, but I think it would be better if the sub had more defenses on both sides?

Craft them at the fabricators. Once upon a time they were rarely available at military outposts but they may have been wiped out by game updates.

Question while I've got you here. Are you getting errors in the editor when attempting to place a homing torpedo? Someone mentioned it in the bugs thread related to this sub.
