Report a translation problem
edit the texture image (Classic Textures\media\textures\Body) with a photo editor like Photoshop, use a transparent background color and under the hands I know a small detail of the affected texture. Just delete that hole and save.
But you are free to download my mod and compare your textures with mine and you will see the detail.
The same if you want to use mine for your mod, nothing happens on my part. Let me know when you update it to hide my mod and prevent spam from me.

In terms of performance, it is mostly CPU bound so pathfinding for 100s of Zeds and dynamic weather effects will slow even on NASA supercomputers especially since a lot of people want to run in 1440p and 4K and zoom out to 250% :) The game would have to be rebuilt on a different engine for that to change.
