Duffle Bag 2.0, Backpack & WaistBelt - Balanced

Going to really quick post a comment here. This mod is broken. Waistbelts and Backpacks don't appear on your character, both the belt and outwear slot's are used by backpacks, therefore, you could have two backpacks, and finally normal toolbelts can have waistbelts, backpacks, and, and duffle bags in them, and they can have items in them! This means you can have a toolbelt and six duffle bags in it which would equal 120 item slots on you.

Just checking to see if this mod still works despite being so out dated, thank you?
Nogard 28 Nov, 2021 @ 10:03am
You can put six Backpack or Duffle Bag inside a normal 6 capacity belt. Is this Normal?
Blyat To The Future 28 Nov, 2021 @ 9:06am
Any update? does this worj with current update?
IAMAPEX  [author] 3 Nov, 2021 @ 6:55pm
working on it, currently unable to work on the update as im away, but will release an update soon to fix issues
GI JASON 170 30 Oct, 2021 @ 1:37pm
Please update when you can. Since the new update all the items are invisible.
The Inquisitor 29 Sep, 2021 @ 11:01pm
Hey! Does anyone have the problem of the backpacks disappearing when you die?
santa claus 3 Sep, 2021 @ 2:33pm
Same issue, backpack is invisible when equipped. No rush...
Fix it at your own pace:D
Pet Mudstone 29 Aug, 2021 @ 8:57am
Have the same issue too, backpack and the waistbelt seem to be invisible when worn. I also don't seem to be getting any slowdown from the items but that might just be me being imperceptive.
blumpo 31 Jul, 2021 @ 11:05am
I have the same issue, the backpack is invisible when equipped.
IAMAPEX  [author] 22 Jul, 2021 @ 6:27pm
Very strange indeed, at least the original is working I guess! I would say it could be a conflict between the two mods but I changed everything so that wouldn't happen, I'll keep having a look and see if I can find out what's going on but unless others report it too then I'm not sure, is a tricky one!
underm1nd 21 Jul, 2021 @ 3:18pm
No worries. The original works just fine. I even tried having both balanced and original together and only the original worked.
IAMAPEX  [author] 21 Jul, 2021 @ 8:53am
Damn, you replied fast and I never got the notification! My bad, but that is the weirdest problem, I've tried replicating it to no avail, no matter what I do they are appearing correctly. Does the same thing happen with the original version of the mod?
underm1nd 17 Jul, 2021 @ 11:43am
Removed all my mods, verified game integrity and then did a clean install of only this mod, tested in editor and a new campaign - backpack and waistbelt are still invisible when equipped or in your hands. They are only visible in containers and when dropped on the ground.
IAMAPEX  [author] 17 Jul, 2021 @ 11:21am
Please try completely removing the mod and reinstalling, I've never seen nor heard of anyone with such a problem before so hopefully a reinstall will suffice

The backpack and the waistbelt are invisible for me when equipped or carried in your hands. I can only see the duffle. Tried putting the mod all the way down in my load order, didnt help. The original version works fine.
PrideGroupIsEvil 14 Jun, 2021 @ 12:43pm
never said anything about making it public
IAMAPEX  [author] 14 Jun, 2021 @ 7:14am
Nope, not how it works.. hence why you can report items for copyright and such. You reupload my assets then it goes against steam ToS and is removed. Just because things are publically available and free to use doesn't mean you can manipulate and redistribute freely.
PrideGroupIsEvil 13 Jun, 2021 @ 6:22pm
cool.

permission or not anything you submit here i'm pretty sure causes you to give up whatever rights you think you have in some sort of clause somewhere
IAMAPEX  [author] 13 Jun, 2021 @ 3:39pm
@Layarion as clearly stated in the description, I do not give permission for editing or modification of my content. as for the armour and such, it hardly does anything. the waistbelt reduces bleeding by 25% while wearing, this effect was added since a belt tightly wrapped around you would indeed reduce bleeding in that area. that is what people wanted.

This mod is just a more balanced version of my original mod, but since you want to complain so much fine, ill remove all the perks which the items provide. note to everyone; Its this guys fault why you dont have them anymore.

as for the 9 slots, thats accurate. didnt realise I forgot to change the description.

And as for the bags holding themselves, thats a bug from the last update. is now fixed.
PrideGroupIsEvil 31 May, 2021 @ 12:09am
WaistBelts and Duffelbags allows them to hold themselves.
PrideGroupIsEvil 31 May, 2021 @ 12:06am
waitbelt only has a 9 item capacity in-game
PrideGroupIsEvil 30 May, 2021 @ 10:43pm
Can i get a more balanced version? seems like it's too much having it slow bleeding and provide armor. I'll just have to edit it and provide my own version otherwise.
IAMAPEX  [author] 4 May, 2021 @ 4:44pm
Well how about that! Saves me time lmao, Thanks Krisscut

Gronk, as for the coil gun pack im not sure it would be a viable option, I could implement a specific bag to carry such items, but I feel it would be too much. I'll experiment with the idea though and see what I can come up with, perhaps some kind of pushable trolley? would be strange taking it up ladders and such though.. but for the scooter idea, I love it! Ill definitely figure something out for that, likely in a separate mod which can be combined with this one. Thank you!
Thing 2 30 Apr, 2021 @ 3:35pm
Suggestion 2.) is to add a bigger scooter that has its own inventory system but is not as fast a regular jet scooter sort of like a cargo scooter
Thing 2 30 Apr, 2021 @ 3:33pm
Few suggestions 1.) remove the ability to place coil gun ammo into duffle bag and instead make a type of pack that’s the equivalent to a shelf but on your back and maybe add a slight debuff for carrying that much weight and maybe it should have 5 slots for crates and ammo carrying capacity
IAMAPEX  [author] 30 Apr, 2021 @ 3:21pm
Fair point, I shall edit the configs tonight and post the update as soon as it's done
Laggyshot 30 Apr, 2021 @ 4:28am
Also the waist belt probably shouldn't be twice the size of the default. 8 is probably more than enough.
FishBone 30 Apr, 2021 @ 12:30am
I agree with Kiithnaras, else you'll have people putting backpacks full ofstuff on their hotbars.
Kiithnaras 29 Apr, 2021 @ 7:19pm
Yeah, I concur: none of these should be usable from the hotbar. Duffels should be a single-active-hand item, like the storage containers. Backpacks should be a double-hand item, like crates, that can be worn as well. Belts should be a single-hand item that can also be worn. That's my feelings on it, anyway.
IAMAPEX  [author] 29 Apr, 2021 @ 12:11pm
The belt isnt actually able to be carried in the hotbar slot, that was just a typo in the description. but yeah, I'm debating if I should do the same and stop the backpack from being able to be used in the hotbar, but realistically it would be possible to carry it around just like the duffelbags and it has less slots than the duffel bag so I dunno, If its requested then i shall remove it.
Laggyshot 29 Apr, 2021 @ 9:57am
You probably shouldn't be able to carry the backpack or belt in your hotbar, because that's kinda too much space if this is supposed to be balanced. You can't carry your normal toolbelt in your hotbar. Otherwise everything looks fine and good!
IAMAPEX  [author] 26 Apr, 2021 @ 8:32am
The item names remain the same but the identifiers are different to prevent incompatibility if both mods are loaded, so I'm not sure if just switching the mods will work or if you'll have to remove the items and then recreate them, it's always a pain to switch mods during an ongoing campaign. Is always best to start again but that's not ideal lol
Glad you got it working though!
FishBone 26 Apr, 2021 @ 7:56am
Update: Tried replacing the original mod with this version and it seems to work.
FishBone 26 Apr, 2021 @ 7:45am
As a follow-up, how do I best replace this version with the original on a running campaign save?
Remove the items -> Save -> Replace mod -> Load
Would this work? Or can I just replace the mod immediatly and will it change the items?
FishBone 26 Apr, 2021 @ 7:43am
Thank you for making this version.
The original was just so OP we didn't actually use it.
